Everyone is welcome! If you’re not interested in witchcraft particularly, that is ok. I’ve tried to create a number of categories, but if there’s one that you’d like to see to help you feel seen and supported, let me know.

There are many avenues of magic and mysticism to explore that connect with your interest in learning how to roll with what you cannot control in life. For instance, I’ve been exploring this as well lately by leaning into philosophy.

Witchcraft is simply one possible path to take.

Merry meet, all! I’m Duchess, a solitary eclectic who follows mainly Brythonic and Celtic paths, and have done so for decades though I’m always open to learning more about everything I can. Pleasure to find another safe place out in the wild crazy world, with more like-minded folks!

Thank you for saying hello and introducing yourself. I’m sorry to hear about your health. That sounds hard.

I totally get the relating to animals more than people. I feel that way sometimes too! I love that that you gave thanks to your Ash tree. It sounds like it gifted you with many wands!

And, if you believe you’re a witch, you’re a witch.

I don’t do a lot of personal work with crystals, but I encourage you to start a thread about how to use crystals for protection or how to manifest and ask your fellow coven members for guidance!

Hi ! My name is Kassandra and I’m from East of France :fr: !
I’m a forester engineer and I practice botany and medicinal plants. I’m very into nature healing, self hypnosis and practicing solo with tarot cards, pendulum and (a lot) of incens.
The region I come from is very marked by the history of the pagans and we unknowingly practice the same rituals as our elders such as the big summer pyres and the daffodil festival in spring. I was lulled by the legends of the mountains and today I try to bring them to life through photography.
I am very happy to be able to chat with you and learn more about your stories, practices and rituals
Nice to meet you all :frog: :evergreen_tree:

Hi. I’m from the UK and have been a witch most of my life. I found the craft in childhood and it just all felt like home to me. Now I’m the elder of a multi-generational family tradition. I love swapping stories, lore, practices and just about anything else.
Its a pleasure to meet you all

Hello All :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m Em, a sad solitary witch! I live on the borders of Derbyshire & The Peak District in the UK. Grew up in Sheffield and have moved even closer to the countryside than I was before. I’m 35, and my physical health is…. Shite  I’m a lesbian, and my wife and I are separated but best friends. Together we have four pugs! Percy (12) Parker (11) Patrick (7) and Primrose (3). My wife also has a crested gecko called ToffeeAppleChewbacca and an indian ringneck parrot called Pig

I’m definitely eclectic because I love so many different practices. I’m not religious personally, my worship is of nature, life’s cycles, ebb and flow. The moon :crescent_moon: and her many phases, the stars and the sun

I love tarot, astrology, tea leaves, runes and palmistry so divination is a passion of mine. I love candle magic but I’ve had to put that on hold because of Pig. Simmer pots, cooking and baking with intention, cleaning magic. Find a job and I’ll make it witchy

On the sad solitary side of things, I’ve always wanted to have a little coven of like minded people, but I suck at making friends and I’m essentially housebound so it’s hard to find people that vibe with my situation. It’s lonely, but witchcraft helps :black_heart:

Hi Rebecca and thanks for taking the time to reply.

It’s not that I’m not interested in witchcraft. It’s that I’m busy coming to terms with witchcraft. And I’m not sure I want to conform to normal witchcraft practices but since I have no real idea what they are that’s a premature assumption. I need to get a grip.

Interesting that you have been exploring philosophy. I know as little about philosophy as I do about witchcraft but have already formed the opinion that it’s only another form of witchcraft and that there is a requirement to be rebellious and refuse to accept philosophical concepts. I think you get the idea where it’s at with me…

Will be following what you say with great interest, obviously you have lots to show me. I may also be a bit quiet, given that I have no idea really about anything it seems presumptions to make a lot of noise and share my ignorance.

Will be watching you, but you may not see me.

See you
Helene
