i dont have a farmiliar but i do want on i love animals ecpecialy red foxes
I take it that with a name like Midnight that it’s a black kitty? 
My familiar can only be with me in spirit, and its a wolf. I always know its near by the impossible number of times that I am surrounded by wolf symbols and energy, and in dreams. It’s extremely protective and I am forever in its debt.

I would love to know how to summon?
There are lots of different ways to summon/find out what you have, do you have a feeling of what you might have?
Im drawn to black birds. I see them everywhere and feel better. But I also love cats and they always respond to me.

Pay extremely close attention to any animals that regularly appear in your dreams, or any that you may remember appearing in your dreams during a difficult time in the past. If it’s your familiar, the dream itself will have a particular intensity to it. I had no idea my familiar had revealed itself to me already until someone told me what it was. I realized it had followed me throughout my entire life, it was profound.
Before going to sleep, you could ask for your familiar to reveal itself to you. That works for some. There are also meditations you can try. Don’t focus on just animals too, some have plant and mineral familiars, or non-physical mythical creatures too, such as the fae, dragons, etc.

Thank you so much for that, I will do that. Grateful for the advice! I believe they are crows but sometimes smaller black birds. I just feel at peace when i see them, like everything is going to be ok.. or something is going to work out in my favor. Did that make sense?

I’m drawn to ravens too, I study their movements (and the other movements of birds) as divination (ornithomancy.) You might be a good fit for that too!
In my tradition ravens are messengers of Odin. Being in their presence always draws my attention - in nature wolves and ravens often work together. They have such a marvelous intelligence and otherworldly quality. Cheers!

I’m pretty sure I found mine just a couple of months ago! My void little kitty and me have been inseparable since day one and I feel such a strong connection to him I sometimes start crying from joy just looking at him! T^T

I have been following your advice. I have noticed that is a showbiz blackbird. A great tailed grackle. They aren’t afraid of me. Im wondering if this animal is a familiar or if i just have an affinity with them. I see a lot of cats and rabbits in my dreams.
I see! Omg I love grackles they are so damn cute!
If you find yourself more drawn to grackles than the animals in your dreams then it’s very possible its them!
There are rituals you can do to reach out to your potential familiar too, or meditations too. I would reach out to the grackles first. Sit outside while they are around. Sprinkle some seed and meditate with them and then ask the question aloud “are you my familiar?” See if there’s any unusual response in the birds.
If they don’t frequent any particular spot, you could also do this indoors in front of your altar. Present the seed (or other appropriate food for other animals) as an offering, with a lit candle and meditate on the animal. Once you feel that you’ve made contact, while in meditation, ask the question, wait patiently and see if you get an answer in your mind or another symbolic sign.
