Sure. What deity catches your attention? Study that deity and the culture it comes from. Is a particular culture catching your interest? Study the gods from that culture. Do not think you need to only have one. I actually work with different ones. I do prefer older cultures and their gods, because I figure they would be more “pure” for lack of a better word. I have 12 deities that I will talk to depending on what I am wishing/asking for. A person can also be a witch and not necessarily have any gods or goddesses. I hope this helps you get started.
