I needed somewhere to ask this question and figured it was the most similar to Tarot. I have been wanting to do tarot for a while now, but I have no way to acquire a deck. I found cartomancy on the internet and wanted to know if anyone is aware about that to help me or give advice. Thank you!

My first ‘deck’ was two packs of poker playing cards that I labeled myself, and a Tarot
book that had the pictures and explanations. I’d use the physical cards and look up the results
in the book, a paperback from used book store. Your phone or computer could substitute.

I do not know sites, but I ordered my cards from Amazon. To start, I would suggest the RWS Tarot in Plastic. RWS means Rider-Waite-Smith, which is the “standard” deck. I started with the regular cards, and only lasted a few months before they started to fray, so I switched to the plastic ones. Much Better!!! So, that is my suggestion, I believe they cost about $25 or so. Lady Gene
