A question that has recently bothering me about the Triple Goddess and the Horned God

For anyone who is Wiccan or that has some knowledge about it and has an idea of what the answer could be:

So, I’m Wiccan and it’s been working out well for me so far, but there’s a small but. I really appreciate what the Triple Goddess and the Horned God doing, but after seeing some stories from other witches, I wonder if I should fear them. For example, there was this story from a witch that she tried to do a love spell ( not something I would do though, feels weird ) and it worked, but she fell out of love, but the man didn’t, so he forced her.

There was another story that someone said they wished this other person dropped dead ( probably jokingly or in anger, I forgot ) and the next day, they found out they REALLY died.

I’m afraid of something bad happening to me or others or to me if I anger the gods or do a ritual or something else not too specific.

You need not worry. These are stories, nothing more.
There is no need to fear the triple goddess or the horned god.

Hi there! No, never fear them. The horned god Cernunnos is a really chill & funny guy once you get to know him. He’s a shaman around me because of the fact that I smoke weed to connect with the spiritual realm before rituals. As for the three moon goddesses, it depends which one. If it’s Seleen, just treat her with respect. If it’s Chang’e, don’t say the wrong name. She hates that. But really, just treat them with respect and you’ll be alright.

Greetings,

It’s important to treat any deity with respect, but take anything you read online with a big grain of salt. Love spells in general are dangerous. The other story is hard to believe.

It’s good that you’re asking, but keep in mind that your experiences are going to be unique!

Cheers.

Merry Meet

You will find many stories that people swear are true and you must always remember that truth is subjective, and relative to the individual. There can be a big difference between truth and fact.

Food for thought: Never do spell work when you are in a bad mood, angry, etc.; casting spells, even passive ones that manipulate others is not a good idea; and not everything that happens is the consequence of a spell or negative thought. We are seldom as powerful or influential as we would like to think we are.

Work on overcoming your fear. You are made of star dust and can harness the energy of the universe; all it takes is patience and practice. Fear is a mind-killer and as with all negative energy, figure out where it is coming from - not the surface but way down deep, then change your thought process and overcome any challenge. The Charge of the Horned God says, “…seek me best with love and strength, for this is my path and I love not the weak and fearful”.

Glad you shared your concerns.

Brightest Blessings!

These are not my pantheon, but what advice I can offer is that everyone has their own

relationships, and no two are ever exactly alike.

Yeah, I can see where you’d be worried. Just remember, they aren’t going to co-sign on anything you shouldn’t be doing. If there are negative consequences, it’s more likely the law of three. Words are powerful, and this should help you to be mindful with what you say.

Fanciful Friday Daughter,

I would not worry, this sounds like they are trying to exaggerate their effects on the outcomes. These things do not sound the “usual”. Most Wiccan/Witches do not practice the dark arts, although some do, others practice chaos magick which is different from “black” magic. Magick is about INTENT, so do not stress about the actions/results others have happened upon. Magick is relative to what you PUT into it. If you put “good” into it you will receive “good” from it, also.

I personally do not follow the triple goddess nor horned god. I am a witch but not necessarily a Wiccan. When an “outsider” asks if I am a Wiccan, just to make it easier I reply yes. If they are a little knowledgeable and know the differences, I will iterate that I am a witch not a Wiccan. Magick and Witchcraft is an individual practice with individual results.

So, again, you take from magick what you put into it. Don’t be scared, of yourself.

Am I correct in this. You cannot place a spell on a person because it can come back as the rule of three, and you’re not supposed to take away someone’s free will, but you can do a spell to bring love to you just not naming anybody or having anybody in mind.

Witchy Wednesday Moon,

You are not supposed to cast a spell on others, because of their free will, yes! However, some people do cast spells on others. I believe in the 3-fold law, most definitely. When things go bad, it is always more than 1 thing; likewise, when things are going good, there is more than 1 good thing happening. So, I do not use “bad/evil” language in my spells. However; I do use knot and binding spells, I use banishing spells also. But these spells are not “against” them (and I use only positive thoughts) example…someone who is treating you badly, I would say, “and bless [so-and-so] with the same kindness that have shown to me”…see NOT phrased negatively, but asks for the same results. As for love spells, like you said, no specific person in mind. That would infringe on their free will. But, yes, ask for a love interest to enter your life, or a love to deepen if it is meant to be…nothing wrong with that, you are not trying to manipulate an individual; you are only asking for a specific outcome…which is what our craft is about, working with energies to help create the outcome we wish.

Hope this answers some questions.

:index_pointing_up:t2:I rate Lady Gene’s response a 10/10! She’s said generally what I would say (although put maybe slightly differently - as an Eastern practitioner the 3-Fold law equivalent for me is simply Karma.)

@WrenTalbot @Lady-Gene I have a question. A couple weeks ago I cast a love spell, but not on anyone. It was to attract true love something I’ve been searching for. I put all the heated spices in my red velvet little bag. I did everything. candles, incantations, heated spices, and when I was all done, I put the sashe under my pillow.

Now I have a problem with one person, my ex who by the day is getting more scary. One of my guy friends even said he’s acting scary, stalking and claiming to be so in love with me and it’s scary, threatening to buy the house I live in, making vailed threats. Luckily, he lives out of state, but could this spell have attracted the wrong kind of love? Should I undo the spell, and is there such a thing as in indoing a spell?

What’s the timing between the stalker behavior and the spell? If he was already going that

way before the spell it may have made it worse, but not been it’s cause.

There was a little bit of a problem with him, but not like this. He’ll text me in all caps, , accusing, and if I ignore him, it just gets worse and then he’ll text back. I’m sorry I’m sorry., and I feel like it did get worse after the spell, but he wasn’t even on my mind when I did that I was just casting a spell to bring love into my life. I would like to just completely block him, but I feel like I might need to know where his mental state is at.

Interesting. Yes, it’s possible that’s why he’s acting that way. Your wording might have been too open-ended.

It’s possible to reverse a spell, but I hear it can be tricky. I’m going to embarrass myself here - I’ve never done it! From what I understand, there are a few different strategies. Since I can’t comment on which is more effective, follow what you think sounds best!

You can:

  1. Burn, submerge, bury, smudge, or destroy the bag - if you don’t have earth to bury it in, you could bury it in salt. As you destroy it, envision the energy of the spell releasing - in the smoke, dissolving into the water and washing down the drain, being drawn into the earth/salt, etc. If you burnt it, blow the ashes into the wind with more visualization, intention and speaking final words of release.

  2. Perform a literal reversal spell with a new spell ritual, using the bag and any items you used to produce the first one. As you perform the new ritual, reverse every step you took to make the bag, chanting or using a mantra to infuse your new intention of release into your new motions and words. Some say to re-write all the words you used in the original spell backwards, and literally speak it that way - as if you were looking at the text in a mirror: Reversal text = txet lasreveR.

  3. Pure visualization. Sit and meditate with the bag for a few minutes - feel its energy by hovering your hands over it. Through this sensation, you could “break” the energy with your visualization and intention - visualizing it like an orb of light around the bag that you then “break” like an egg with your hands. Then visualizing the “shells” dissolving into nothing. (As a Medium this would be my natural method.)

There’s more methods I’m sure, but those are the ones I know about. After any method, thoroughly cleanse yourself and your space, in case there’s any residual energy left behind. I’d be extra good with your protection before, during and after the reversal for a few days until the reversal takes full effect. (It might not be instant.)

Hope that helps. :trident_emblem:

Well, I don’t know your history details but I’m going thru a divorce right now and it’s traumatic.

If he’s out of state there’s physical separation at least, but understand his head is not in a good

place, and just take that into account unless he makes a direct physical threat. If it’s just an

emotional drama just be kind and forgiving or at least tolerant. The spell did do something here.

Oh yes, that’s another thing:

A cord-cutting ritual might also be in order here.

I have heard about those. I wonder if that would work

Yes, that would help. You have a spiritual connection, made stronger now by that spell.

I am going tolook up some core cutting spells I don’t have one. I’ll see what I need for it. It never occurred to me that the spell could be doing something to him because he was furthest from my mind. Wow, that I start wording things very differently now and I think you had said that I left it maybe too open then that might be the case.
