With age comes wisdom.

With wisdom comes knowledge.

With knowledge comes power.

With power comes responsibility.

I have only just registered, is this still something you’re working on, or have you chosen another path?

I’m new to this forum and would love to get involved in this project! I don’t know much about what this particular platform has to offer being brand new, but if you’re still taking feedback here is mine!

A forum seems like a great option for being able to return time and again and re-read things that you need to take in a few times, whereas Discord I feel like is much better for real time chatting and collaborating. Either way, please update us here when you have something up and running! Thank you for doing this!

I did discover you can book mark posts here to find them again easily, but cant find how to access them yet :face_with_peeking_eye:

Discord is very chaotic. Great for chatting as you say. It would work for an online coven activity, but a slower paced forum is better for asking questions and sharing.

I’m interested. I hope I’m not too late.

Sensory overload!!!

What calls to you?

What is your astrological sign?

Ever started with working with the elementals?

Perhaps…elemental magic…fire air, earth, water and spirit…those are great…

Sorry …if you don’t want my advice…sorry…but..

Merry Imbolc

Blessed be!!!

Merry meet. I started my interest in witchcraft nearly 30 years ago. But let it go for a long while. Then about 7 years ago I had a I don’t know a kinda calling… it was too often to be a coincidence but very subtle. I kept finding keys that didn’t go to anything or belong to anyone. It was like when people start seeing angel numbers once you see them they were everywhere. I researched what keys meant and I learned it was connected to Hekate. So I started reading and researching and have been practicing since. I consider myself a kitchen witch. I practice with the Greek pantheon. I hold Hekate, Hestia and Apollo as my patron deities. I am close with my tarot and using the pendulum and dowsing rods. I have done a few spells but feel like imposter syndrome as I don’t do them often as I believe in doing everything I can mundanely before using magic. I want to work on my spell work but don’t want to do it for little things. How can I get better at this

Welcome! Seems like a lot of us are being called back. I started with Kabbalah some 50 years

ago, and now I’m a Shaman (Same as Hedge Witch, only male label) I too am trying to get better.

Greetings Bellamy,

How often you perform spellwork has absolutely no effect on your legitimacy as a practitioner. If you want a more general label, you could just call yourself a pagan (or perhaps a Hellenist if you want to stay within the Greek pantheon), but don’t let anyone tell you what you are. (Including me.)

I think it’s a healthy approach to look at mundane ways to resolve the small things - and leave the heavy lifting for the spellwork. As Molly Weasley would say: “Just because you’re allowed to use magic now, doesn’t mean you have to whip your wands out for everything!” :joy:

And you are absolutely in the right place for learning more advanced magick! I was literally born into the pagan world, so I’ve been in it my entire life.

If you asked me a few months ago I would’ve answered Reconstructionist Norse Pagan, as a young adult I was simply a witch, as a child I was born into Theosophy (and went to a school for it as I was growing up), but now… well it’s complicated. I think I know where I’m going, but it’s too early to say for sure.

Point is, while I don’t know everything I know A LOT, so I’m kind of one of the unofficial teachers around here. I’m not always available, (this week unfortunately I won’t be) but whenever I am, I’m here to help with the more advanced stuff.

Cheers. :lotus:

Wren thank you. I really appreciate it. I’m looking forward to learning what I can from here. I am still in the broom closet but have been slowly sharing with my immediate family and close friends. I have my wife help blow cinnamon at the beginning of the month. So that has been nice. Thank you again for the kind words.
