I started practising witchcraft a few months after i started praying to Hestia and Dionysus because i felt like i was being pulled into it and that i should do it for myself and for honouring my gods

Life does have a way of getting complicated sometimes, doesn’t it. Let your name find you. You’ll know when it’s right. I really like this site and think you will too. Lots of good people and no drama. I could talk for hours about my experiences, but as I was just thinking about an interaction with a Christian friend, I will mention it. He asked me what the biggest difference between his religious practices and mine was. I told him there were many more similarities than differences. You go to church, sing and pray, and listen to preaching. I have my own sanctuary where I sing, listen to the universe, and cast spells. For me, the difference between a spell and a typical prayer is that with the spell, I absolutely expect positive results without exception.
Like many others I essentially defy any clear labels. I suppose you could call me a grey witch, as I will fight fire with fire when necessary. I would much rather spend time with the fae than fight with narrow-minded people. Brightest Blessings!
