Hey everyone! I’ve been working on some things. I had to dig out my notebooks from years ago to find certain information i wanted.
I know a lot of you have a preference for the platform. I wanted to get as many answers as I can so I can finally get this thing going!
Would you guys prefer to use this platform? Facebook? Discord? Or something else entirely?
I’m trying to find the time to try and create a website/app specifically for this but that will most likely take much longer.

A group would be interesting and I would like to join if/when you set it up. As for learning about the Craft, I feel there is always something new to learn/share, however much you know ,so I’d join that group as well, even though I have been a white witch for a number of years. Thank you!

I would love to join in on this. My vote regarding Facebook is no. I stopped using just about any social media, for a few reasons…too much negativity and drama, and my dad not behaving on the newsfeed; someone hacked into all my personal online media and I have been on the DL ever since. VERY small online footprint. I have heard of Discord…so I guess that is my vote unless you can find a website builder that was free/low cost. I would be willing to donate $ to help with the endeavor.

I agree completely with Facebook. Too much negativity, among other things.
I am working on building something on Discord, on this platform and I’m also working on an app builder and I’m planning to see whoch one turns out the best. Thr most user friendly.

I think that if you start any topic and encourage active participation from neophytes thru crones, once people see that you are serious and that their questions and suggestions are genuinely appreciated you will have no problem finding many worthy topics. My experience with sites/blogs/threads/whatever such as this is that they talk the talk but… All you likely need to do is follow through. I’d like to see anything that accurately portrays the Art. Helping newer witches understand the difference between Wicca and Witch, the concept of harm none, spell-crafting, and some of the many ways to craft a ritual when one doesn’t have the desired space, etc. The Coven’s Cauldron, The Darkness Bright, Shadows of the Coven, The Moonlit Cauldron, Light in the Darkness, A Path Less Travelled, Things Worth Knowing, The World Awaits, Am I a Witch, Witchy Wisdom, A Well of Wisdom, You May Want to Listen, Have you Heard This, Guess what I heard, The Word Is, Never Stop Learning, Things Worth Sharing, What Every Witch Should Know, The Lady’s Lake, Beyond the Veil, So Tell Me More, The star that has scientists terrified…I digress. Best of Luck, as you can see, I am no help what-so-ever. 
Oh, yeah, if anyone says they just want a love spell, tell them to piss off.

You actually are helpful!! And I think you’re right. One of the main points i listed after What is Witchcraft? Was the difference between Witchcraft and Wicca. As that causes confusion for newer witches which I completely understand.
Your ideas for names were helpful as well. I just chose one for now, it’s The Cauldron of Eclectic Wisdom. But can be changed anytime.

I was just reading more of the posts. I would love to see something around the topic of From Neophyt to Crone focusing on how one can maximize their learning process, aka, Practice makes Perfect. I’m a 55yr old Crone, was raised in the craft as well as clairvoyant. Again, any help you need just let me know. You are on to something big here.

Don’t know if this will give you any ideas but I just thought of something we used to do in my other coven. Suggest a subject for creating a spell and have the student write a simple spell with all the appropriate correspondences. Key word being “all”. I have a complete BOS with nothing but correspondences. If nothing else, it helps a postulant understand that being a witch involves more than dancing skyclad under the full moon. (Although I admit that’s pretty hard to beat!) Blessed be!

I think I need to define what I meant by “Witchcraft on a Dime”
There are so many commercially made tools and such for witchcraft. Some can get pretty pricey. I thought this topic could cover how to make your own tools from things found in nature, making your own consecrating oils and incense, decorating your own altar cloth, etc..
I hope this explains better what I meant.

I would be very interested. I have my own crystal ball and 6 good decks of Tarot Cards. I have been studying Witchcraft for over 37 years now, but I still have a lot to learn.
I would be interested as well! This really sounds great! I have been doing my own thing for a long time, most of it self taught. I am always seeking new knowledge and incorporating what works for me into my practice. One topic that comes to mind is herbal medicine, but I love the idea of a 101 course too. Thank you for putting this together and sharing it with us!

Hola! I have been practicing herbal medicine since 2006; I have been making herbal and mushroom tinctures for the last 12 years or so. I got a certificate for Holistic Health Practitioner 2013 from the American College of Healthcare Sciences. I am very particular about getting information from evidence based resources as much as possible. I also make sure to provide information on possible side effects, warnings and contraindications. Just because they are herbs, does not automatically make them safe for everyone. I hope that we can help with putting together information for each other when this gets off the ground.
