Dear friends.
When I am casting a spell and using paper to write the persons name on 3 times, for a healing spell do I fold the paper 3 times towards me or 3 times away from me. I understood that I can add lavender and cinnamon to assist the spells intentions, and after burning the paper bury the ashes in the garden. is this right? please advise as I am very new.

Morning Hombre,
The Craft is not about “hop on your foot 13 times, turn around and touch your nose”. Write and fold as your spirit calls you. I prefer to fold inward as a binding, but outward if I wish my will to go out into the world/cosmos.
It is all about your intention.

It depends on your purpose, and just what makes sense to you intuitively. Generally, energy you want to direct towards you, would mean folding towards you, and energy you want to direct outwards or toward someone else would be folded away from you.
That’s one way, yes that’s fine.
