Banishment ritual I made

I figured I’d share this incase anyone needs a simple but effective ritual to banish evil spirits. For this ritual all you’ll need are the following

● An incense stick, or two, of either Sandle Wood or Nag Champa.

● A drawn pentagram with the protection rune drawn in the middle.

Light the incense stick and wave it over the drawing while reciting out loud, or mentally, “I banish away any evil souls that wish to harm me. Let the energies of this ritual bless me to never be tainted by evil energies.” After reciting, let the stick/sticks burn and feel the energies of the ritual wash over you soit can cleans you from within, in case any negative energies have manifested within you.

Here’s a pic of the pentagram so you know which rune to use.

I’ve seen that exact Norse protection bind rune in the center before,

but what does the five letters stand for? Helps with Intent to know, right?

Spirit, and the elements of the cardinal points. Air, Fire, Water. Earth. BTW, enjoy your posts. Brightest Blessings!

Ah, thanks! I thought it may have been Angel names, but that makes sense too!

The letters mean spirit, water, air, fire & Earth. It’s more common with alchemy.

Nice! Good choice for incense. For banishing I use cedar as there’s an abundance of it in my area and I find it’s very strong and I love free supplies lol. I burn Himalayan Juniper rope daily with my deity meditations, both as an offering and a gentler form of protection. Nag Champa sets off my allergies so sadly I can’t use it (it’s the magnolia).

Thanks for sharing! Cheers. :crescent_moon:

See if there are any fragrant bushes or plants that grow naturally in your area that might have those properties!

All I do is pick up a few fallen cedar branches, (or even save some from holiday garlands), strip off the bark, cut them to shorter lengths if needed, then cure them for a few weeks. They burn slowly so just a few can last a really long time. It’s how the natives used to do it!

HI

I have read that incense sticks etc must be all natural with no chemical elements added or else it interferes with the spells etc.

I heard the way you draw the pentagram is also important to, that depending on which point you start and witch point you end, it can affect your cast in some way.

I’ve never heard that it made a huge difference in spellwork, (although I could see that), but it’s true that the chemicals used in cheap incense are just generally bad, especially for your health. Burning loose herbs and resins, smudging bundles, hand-rolled rope incense, and hand-rolled traditional incense sticks from Nepal and Japan are cleaner.
