Hello! I just did a manifestation ritual for the 1/11 portal for 2026. I wrote the things I wanted to manifest for 2026 on a piece of paper and burned it, however, when I took a picture of it, I noticed the paper looked like a woman, I think a Salem witch, with her arms out. Does this mean anything? Should I protect myself? If so, what should I do? I just want to make sure I’m doing everything right sorry I’m a very new witch haha

I am not sure why you would think that the figure of a woman was bad? If, you however, believe it to be a bad sign, then by all means protect yourself. I am not sure what you asked for, but maybe the “woman” is an answer….not sure which way, yes/no. Do not jump to conclusions. Looks like you just did it this morning. Maybe ask for more guidance, by tarot or pendulum, before you make your final decision on whether the burning was a good or bad omen.
Not sure that helped too much, but I hope it eased your mind a little

Thank you! I got a weird feeling, but I also have anxiety and am very new to this, so the more I think about it the more I’m comfortable. I’m wondering if it is a pagan god trying to communicate with me?

You will do fine, do not over-think it.
Signs/signals are not very complicated. I think WE make it complicated. Think on it…if the god/desses want to talk to you, would they MAKE it difficult?
No worry how new you are, if you are not sure what it means, stay open. If someone is trying to connect with you, and you did not “get it” this time. Another sign will come. Be Patient. After all the god/desses don’t work on OUR time, right?

Yes that is so true I didn’t even think of that! Their concept of time is probably insanely different than ours haha, The more the image sits in my phone and the more days go by the more I feel more comforted by the image rather than scared. I think I was just anxious but yes, I do need to remember that intuition is the foundation of witchcraft and that I need to go by mine more. Such fun new adjustments! Thank you!
