That’s unexpected…
When I did a cleanse basically I just focused on anything with negative intentions so if it wasn’t harmful or had intentions to become so. I wasn’t necessarily randomly chasing out everything, only things that intended harm. Do those intentions matter? I certainly don’t want to offend anybody that was harmless or even benevolent.
Greetings Michelle!
I was actually going to make a point about this too, and how it relates to salting, but I ran out of time! Agh! Very good points, and you said pretty much what I was going to say… gotta run! lol
Cheers. ![]()
[NO IDEA why it shows this reply is to you Sedim, lol]
I’m having trouble myself with the ‘reply button’ it’s … wonky!
That’s such a thorough system, honestly a little enviable having something vetting on your behalf. The melatonin detail especially caught me, hadn’t thought about a supplement interfering that specifically.
Mine’s less delegated. No Familiar guiding it, more just paying attention to my own gut over years, trial and error, nobody screening for me ahead of time. Makes me wonder if it’s steadier having someone actually watching your back like that.
Intentions matter a lot to me, yeah. I don’t treat cleansing as clearing everything out indiscriminately, more like clearing what’s actually causing harm or heaviness. Anything neutral or benevolent gets left alone; something not being human isn’t reason enough to remove it.
I think of it less as “sweep the whole house” and more as “ask what’s actually not okay here.” Sounds like you were already doing that, for what it’s worth.
It takes a lot of trust in the Familiar relationship, but yes it’s well worth the time and effort.
( In my case more effort on HER part than mine, I have ‘a thick skull’ LOL over a year now )
AFAIK that would be a Familiar’s primary function, whether for a northern European Hedge
Witch or for a North African Shaman. That funtion being a bridge… and regulator … between
the Familiar’s human and the rest of the Spirit World. And yes, meletonin messes with dreams.
