The book my deck of cards came with discusses two basic draws: Single card and 3 card spread.
According to the book, the single card can be used for reflection.
I drew my first card for that purpose. The description of the card makes sense for a reading, but I am not sure how it would work as a refelction.
Any advice?
Sounds like a great way to start! That’s what I did, a lot. You can look up the one card easy,
no complex relationships there. You can learn from it, see your own relationship with it.
I still do that, but only with the major cards. Sometimes, I used to arrange them in the Tree pattern.
(all of them)
Ya, not the usual use for tarot, but this is what they actually are for, IMHO.
I have a mini Waite deck for this.
Thanks for replying, but not what I was asking ![]()
I thought I was? Maybe IDK what ‘reflection’ means in Tarot?
(Ya, the Tree is kinda out there…. sorry, Autism)
Hello Red, Depending on the question, I see the moon card as mainly illusion. Does that help? Different note, I just got my first Lenormand decks–woo-hoo

Hi @Red_Fox, I’m not sure this is what you’re looking for, but the Moon post on the site includes meanings and journal prompts to help encourage reflection. I’ve done this for all the cards I’ve written so far.
You can find the Moon one here: https://www.pagangrimoire.com/the-moon-tarot-card-meaning/
And all the tarot cards are here - not done with the list yet (there’s a lot of them), but all the majors are complete. https://www.pagangrimoire.com/tarot-card-meanings-list/
Wait… wait… there’s a whole web site? Here I thought this forum was… all there was!
Thank you so much!
Makes sense now: listen to my ‘spidey sense’ and pay attention to dreams/subconsious kind of a thing
Wacky Wednesday Sedim,
I have to chuckle. I guess I assumed you knew about the whole web-site. Have fun exploring it!!
