Well. Don’t I feel silly. I just posted over in Cauldron Conversations asking folks about their favorite holiday dishes.

What is your favorite dish to prepare for special occasions and/or seasonal celebrations? I’ve read through a number of the recipes on this site and can’t wait to try many of them. In the meantime, here are a few I find I make consistently:

• Autumnal gatherings: Stuffed Cornish game hens, wild rice, roasted asparagus
• Yule meal: Beef Wellington, Yorkshire pudding, roasted tri-color potatoes, pear/currant/yam casserole, steamed veg (seasonal)
• Special breakfast (anytime, really): Cornmeal waffles, apple cider/brown sugar syrup, eggs, bacon

Jeepers - I was only going to provide single meals but my brain went into menu-mode. Oops! If you can’t find any of the above recipes online, let me know and I’ll message them to you.

I’ve gained 5 lbs just writing those danged dishes down!
