Hi Everyone! I’m looking for some ideas for a meal on Mabon. I have some chicken & a crock pot. (my preferred method these days) Does anyone have a favorite recipe or just ideas for Mabon?

I’m particularly new in celebrating the holidays, but i have no budget for it yet. therefore I’ll just make something else, even just a little feast for me and my sister. Like the two of us with a simplier meal, i don’t have a job yet so I’ll just make sure it’ll suffice the celebration. ^^

The celebration of Mabon doesn’t have to be elaborate or incorporate a meal or really anything material. It just needs to be a time when you can focus your attention on the meaning of the equinox – balance, gratitude, and you being in alignment with the energies of the moment. There are some low-key ideas on the website you might find appealing.
As with all witchcraft, intention is the essential ingredient in any spell or ritual. Don’t worry about “stuff.” You and your focus are the only elements that matter.

Hi, I would add apples to the chicken with other root veg, adding in herbs of your choice. ( stirrings of intention)
If you dont like to add apples in , make a earthy desert, with spices, cinnamon, nutmeg ( setting your gratitude of what the year and provided so far)
