The holiday is approaching, I am glad about it. Of course, one lives with the Gods forever.
God Lugh (Loki) A God that I love so much.
The God of exquisitely Created things. The God of Fire and Light that create.
Be healthy and happy!

What types of things do you do to celebrate the day? You have traditions? Recipes? I’m just curious.
Our main site here has a very good guide!
Edit: and some recipes!
Cheers. ![]()
A Luminous Lughnasadh to all! ![]()
I’m super excited to celebrate this year and was so grateful to find all the bread recipes. ![]()
Here’s the thing – I might end up having to be out of town during the that time. Bummer. So, my question is, if you were going to celebrate on the road, or in a totally different town, how would you do that? Obviously, a travel altar, but food-wise?

I think that the most important foods for the Luganasad holiday are Bread, Seeds, some kind of nuts and fruits.
If a person does not prepare them, he can buy them.
The important thing is our Love for God Lug. The God of Fire, Light and jewelry-made things.
I wish you health!

ahh I love Lammas! I love baking bread, and usually around Lammas I’ll bake a few loaves, maybe also some muffins or other baked goods, and share them with my friends and family. Lammas is the first harvest festival, specifically the harvest of wheat, so breads and other wheat-based foods are largely how I celebrate.
As someone who works with/reveres mainly Celtic and Irish deities, I’ve always been drawn to Lugh, though I’ve never worked with him directly. There’s something about him that’s still quite intimidating to me, and I want to get more experience with other deities under my belt before reaching out haha. He’s a god of creativity, one of his epithets is Samildánach, meaning ‘Master of All Arts.’ I’m a serial hobby collector and jack of all trades, so that side of him really appeals to me. Because I don’t work with Lugh currently I usually refer to the sabbat as Lammas, saving Lughnasadh for when I specifically work with him if that makes sense. To keep the name of the god sacred, I guess?
Anyway, sorry for the infodump lmao, I’m just excited ^-^
…bring Lembas bread. xD
(You might think I’m joking but I’m being dead serious. There are real recipes out there.) lol ![]()
No taters, Precious?
