Other beliefs and other witches

Hello. This is my first post, so I would like to ask the entire community a question and what is their opinion, to know if I am in the right place for me.
I respect the immanence of the gods and goddesses but I do not worship any of them because for me there is no other god than Nature and its four elements. I deeply regret if I offend anyone, it is not my intention, but I would like to know if there are more witches here like me or with beliefs similar to mine.
Again I apologize if I offend anyone and I thank you all for your attention.

Goodness don’t apologize for what you believe. The great thing about this space is there are no must believes. Everyone can and does accept what is good for them; and it can change at any time. It’s your truth. Celebrate it! No one else has to believe what you do and you don’t have to accept what is good for them.
Hope you’re having a wonderful life.

Tabita I like the simplicity of your devotion. If one thinks about it, the majority of named goddesses and gods are all representative of an Element. If you include Spirit I believe all are represented. You have deconstructed all deities to their base which is not a bad think.
I find that at times too much personality is given to the energies that exist resulting in a devotion to the personality and not the energy. That being said. One still can and should go out into the middle of a thunderstorm and yell out appreciation and thanks to Lord Taranus. Just remember he is not the Energy he represents it. So giving names and personalities to the energies that exist is a very authentic expression of one’s devotion but it is not necessary. I myself have beliefs along the same line as you Tabita. I call myself an Elemental.

That is the absolutely most wonderful part of being in a witch or pagan community! Your beliefs don’t have to align with anyone other than yourself. Every witch i know works with different deities or none at all. I think the only one we have in common is that a few of us all work with Hecate.
Apart from deities, my practice is not like anyone elses. I am an eclectic witch. I literally pull from different practices that I have learned and combine them into my own very unique type of magic/witchcraft.
As long as what you are doing and what you believe in feels right to you thats all that matters!

I like this forum more and more every day, even though I’ve only been here for a short time. I really like the understanding between witches that I see, something that is not very common these days. I thank you all for your comments, they make me very happy. Thank you very much.

I don’t believe you have to worship a specific deity. I find my higher spirit in nature, but I do like to speak to the Great Mother at sunrise. It’s a lovely sense of peace. I have always been a witch and prefer to practice solitary. I say this because I had my awakening at 16. I intuitively knew the Christian church was not the answer for me. Though many like to practice in a coven, this means sharing the same vision of Wiccan/witchcraft/paganism. My point is that we don’t all share the same way of practicing our craft and no one’s idea is wrong. An it harm none, do as ye will. I hope this is helpful. I don’t push my views on others.

Hi and welcome to this site! Your post wasn’t remotely offensive and although I can only speak for myself, I think you have been very honest and brave to state your point. I also do not worship any ‘gods’ other than Nature. I respect other beings but to me they are Masters and they are there to help and look after us. That’s how I see it. EG Kwan Yin, Hecate, Francis of Assisi, etc, might like to help us in specific circumstances, but would not like to be worshipped as gods (they are not gods). Merry Meet!

I completely understand this way of thinking. I do believe in the reverence and believe that the deities above and below are indeed deities, but I don’t worship them as such. They are fine with that though, which makes it alright. As long as you show them respect, that’s all they wish for. And please don’t apologize for believing one thing or potentially “offending” another because of your belief system. If they are offended, that’s their problem, not yours. Blessings upon you, friend.

I agree, VioletVampireWitch, they (deities or not ) are spiritual beings who (in my view at least) transcend being ‘offended’ by us mortals…so they won’t mind our points of view as long as we respect them. Blessings!
