Hi everyone! My name is Maria and i joined today. I¨ve been really interested in Wicca this past months and im looking forward to learn more about it.I had my first holiday in february 1 (lammas) since i live in the south hemisphyre. I´ve always felt very drawed in to Aphrodite (this may sound silly) and i would love to know some ways of connecting with her. And also to make some friends here!

Or details about Her either, other than appearance, that I’ve already shared.
It’s not me, she feels cautious after the way we were treated on another forum.

I don’t have any personal tips, as I include others in my path, but a quick intermaweb search will turn up plenty if suggestions for connecing with Aphrodite.
Inalways suggest finding at least three different sources and question everything you read: be comfortable with any of your practices.

I’m not sure it’s any help, but I work with deity from different pantheons, depending on what I’m doing or just who I feel drawn to at the moment. The way I have chosen all my deity is first to feel somehow drawn to them, then to do massive research and see if I still feel drawn to them. If I do, then I ask them for their permission to approach. If I feel connected with a particular deity, I stick with them regardless of what the books say. My heart knows best. Sounds to me like you have it all together. Brightest Blessings!

I’been studying this topic and i find it insightful, i remeber being drown to this deity since i was little, now makes sense. I found a page on the internet that tells you all about her, how to build a relationship etc… but as i was getting deeper, i realized that everyones has their own methods!

Indeed, and don’t rely on just one vision of your Goddess, just use that as a starting point to
develop your own relationship. I relate to my Goddess in ways hardly anyone ever does, and
I fully acknowledge that theirs is as fully true as mine. We just have a … different focus.
Always remember the Story about the Blind Men and the Elephant.
Welcome! Aphrodite is not at all a strange or uncommon choice actually - I’ve seen channels on Youtube that are entirely dedicated to Aphrodite, and they’re all gorgeous people. That’s a wonderful choice!
Marcus my friend! I almost didn’t recognize you with the new profile pic lol! Good advice as always, I think that’s also a good approach. Another possibility is encountering a series of signs that align with a certain deity that resonates. In the modern world that also includes signs you may pick up on online and in portrayals in media. Hilariously, one of the ways I identified one of the gods who approached me in Dec. was because of a weird experience I had when I saw a portrayal of them in an anime!
