Hello! i’m new to this whole witch thing but so far i am loving learning all that i can about it. i’ve always had a spiritual mindset so i love that i have something a little more tangible to focus my spiritual energy into. so far i am definitely more of an eclectic witch with interest in herbs, rituals, astrology and spells for the home. i am a Virgo so i definitely am trying to create a more structured practice with routines and rituals. i am open to any advice or ideas anyone has for me and i am so excited to meet yall!
Welcome to the forum!
Many new people here, and experienced people as well. You’ve come to the right place!
Lots to read and see, and don’t forget about the web site, it’s expanding all the time.
Welcome!
I’m going to echo what Sedim said and recommend you browse through the main site. There’s enough material there to keep anyone occupied for weeks!
In the forum we’re mostly here to help out and chill. The perfect place if you’re looking for a pagan/witchy community.
Happy to have you! ![]()

Welcome to our Pack
. Take a long look around at everything.
Here is my suggested reading for newbies:
Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham**a very easy read.
Buckland’s Complete Book of Witchcraft (Affectionately called Buckland’s Big Blue) by Raymond Buckland**this is almost like a workbook, with little exercises at the end of each chapter. This book is a little more in-depth than Scotts book and explains a little about the different Wiccan “denominations” if you will.
A Witches Bible: The Complete Witches’ Handbook by Janet and Stewart Farrar** this is very ritualistic and is Garnerian Wicca. This explains indepth the rituals of Wicca.
These 3 are good starting points.
Happy “flying”!!

Welcome! and what everyone else said ![]()
Welcome!
I’m also fairly new. I tend to go with the label pagan rather than witch, as it just feels right to me, but my practice has many similarities to the electic path. I typically use the Epicurean philosophy- if a belief causes me distress or fear, then it’s not a good belief, and I should get rid of it.
Christianity just never felt right- something more tangible is great, I agree!
I love using herbs, but I typically use them for medicinal rather than metaphysical uses at the moment. I’d love to talk about that with you if you’re interested!
May the gods and spirits watch over you!
