Hello! I am new here! I have been interested in and exploring various aspects of paganism and just trying to learn all I can so far on my own. I am interested in expanding my knowledge and learning more from others. I am a Scorpio, interested in herbalism, kitchen witchcraft and tarot mostly so far.
Welcome to the Forum!
You’re at the right place, and check out the web site too. Lots of info, and feel free to ask Q’s.
Super Saturday MyEmmy,
Sorry, I’m a little late. ![]()
Well, here are the 3 books I suggest for all newbies,
Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham**a very easy read.
Buckland’s Complete Book of Witchcraft (Affectionately called Buckland’s Big Blue) by Raymond Buckland**this is almost like a workbook, with little exercises at the end of each chapter. This book is a little more in-depth than Scotts book and explains a little about the different Wiccan “denominations” if you will.
A Witches Bible: The Complete Witches’ Handbook by Janet and Stewart Farrar** this is very ritualistic and is Gardnerian Wicca. This explains in-depth the rituals of Wicca.
Take a good look around you will find much information and many different practitioners.
I have a tarot thread, feel free to stop by Tarot Talks June 2026.
Have fun exploring!!
