Does anyone have any tips for consecrating/blessing veils? Just wondering because I’m not allowed to use incense or candles so I need an alternative.
I suppose it depends. If you follow any Gods or Goddesses, then do a prayer & a little ritual to help complement it. Like offering grain or bread, fruits, stones, heck it can be something as basic as fresh/pure water. If you don’t follow any Gods or Goddesses, then the ritual will be different, but it shouldn’t be too different. I recommend doing more research in the topic to get a better understanding of what would work for you personally.
As a rule, I don’t consecrate anything without first being properly prepared in a properly prepared space. You may want to consecrate some water and salt (earth and sea). A feather that means something special to you may be used in the ritual in place of incense (air), and a crystal or even led candles can be used instead of physical fire. Remember that consecration is a sacred ritual; and your tools will only be as effective as the positive energy you put in them. A proper consecration ritual touches the soul and unites you, your tool (veil) and the Otherworld. Brightest blessings!
