Getting Married soon!

Good Rising! I’m getting married soon to my non witchy husband, and we aren’t doing a traditional Wiccan wedding or anything of the sort since he doesn’t practice, but I do want to cast either a good luck spell or blessing spell for my special day just to have extra protection and light. I would love to know if anyone has any ideas on what I can do or any rituals that work for you all. Thank you!

P.s: he is aware I practice and is 100% supportive he just doesn’t practice himself

You could weave and cast a spell on charm as a bracelet for both of you to wear, or a spell jar for you both to keep in a pocket.

Or even perform a spell before leaving to where you are getting married.

A simple ritual of lighting some candles and thinking or saying your intent would work too.

And, congratulations on your
upcoming marriage.

Since you are not doing a Wicca themed wedding (I perform weddings here in Vegas ), but your intended is acceptable of your practice, I would suggest wearing things on your person. A pentacle necklace/ring/bracelet, a favored crystal…I love what Red suggested about making a charm (i’m thinking bracelet) with your intentions “woven” into the charm as you make it, and both of you wear it during the wedding. I think this last one is the most powerful. He doesn’t practice, that is okay, especially since he is accepting of your practice. Make bracelets (or whatever “tickles your fancy”), however, and whatever you have available, and as you make your item state the love generated within this union, and bless it with the god/dess’ love …so on and so forth….then wear these in the ceremony. Or this, place the rings under the moon and bless them before the wedding. Let the lunar light (I happen to be a solar witch, go figgur, I live in Vegas :joy:) bless your rings. Lay them on your altar, bless them and leave them under the moon (since I am solar, I bless/cleanse my objects in the sun). Then you will “carry” the blessing daily as you wear the rings.

Anyway, many different things you are able to do to create MAGICK on your special day!!

Congratulations. The fact he supports it is awesome. I’d recommend a simple banishment ritual to keep any unwanted spirits and/or energies away from you and your husband on that day. All you need is a white candle, a wand or something similar to bring forth the energies needed to bless/ward, and some salt if you want to make it even stronger. Sprinkle a small amount of salt on the candle before igniting the candle. Once lit, use your wand or anything similar to utilize the energiesin the air and around to blow the evil way with a strong gust of wind, and bring the positive energies need with a gentle breeze.
I wish the best for the wedding, blessings of the moon upon you.

Thank you I appreciate it, I definitely love the idea of woven intentions and making a cute charm/bracelet we can both wear. I really appreciate all the advice, I was looking everywhere for rituals I could do that didnt require a full ceremony, so this helps alot!
