I was reading some seriously depressing stuff and then stopped for my evening meditations. I also felt called to do a reading. I drew the ace of spades (reversed), 10 of hearts (reversed), and the Joker (reversed). Clouded judgement, unfufilled emotional potential, facade of perfection, and bad timing.
What in the goddesses’ names could this mean?
Is this a warning that I’m not doing well?
Is it the spirits telling me to stop reading such depressing stuff?
Was the reversed Joker at the end saying discard this reading it was not in fact a good time to do one?
I don’t know, and I’m not in the right mind to figure it out. Please help me figure out what it means.
May the spirits protect you,
Jasper

Weird Wednesday SeekingSerenity,
Do not take it too seriously. Many people do not read upside-down cards, some people turn all the cards up. Do the cards make sense to you if they are upright? Maybe it is not a drastic problem.

I feel that the cards are simply there as guidance but I don’t know any practitioners(mainly due to being a solitary practitioner myself) who care much for reading the reversed meaning of cards. I hope this helps in some small way for you Jasper. I personally would not take the reversed very seriously unless it’s important to read the cards as they are spread in the way they come out for you personally. I always just read them normally and let the card speak to me if the interpretation is intended to be read by me
