(Second post) So throughout my life there has been a weird figure lingering around, this is actually what’s getting me interested in witch craft. When I was 12 I first saw this… I’d like to say lady looming over me holding a checkered black and red blanket seemingly covering me with it. She wore white robes and had hair over her face preventing the viewing of her features. At the time I just jolted awake randomly when I saw her, of course in a panic I got up and ran into my parents room, even though after three blinks she was gone. But 2 years later the same lady was standing in the corner of my newly moved in room, again holding the same checkered blanket; being older i wasn’t as frightened, i blinked 3 times and she disappeared again. And recently a couple of years later i noticed her again after randomly jolting awake the day after moving into a new place. I just wanted to ask if this is something I should be worried about considering “she” doesn’t seem to want to leave me alone. I’d like to believe this is all hallucinations but it’s a little too consistent for my taste.
She doesn’t seem threatening, or I guess you’d mention that. What she is could have many
reasons, have you asked anyone in your family about the blanket? It seems a specific item.
You don’t have to bring her into it, just say you saw it in a dream? Or do they know already?
Also, you can try speaking to her next time, you know how to ‘dismiss’ her, it’s likely safe?

Having had experiences with “ghosts/spirits/presences/entities” in my homes and elsewhere, this is what I “see” happening.
First, the mother figure, no-face maybe so that you will not place any expectations on her.
Second, so young and in your bedrooms, new even, so she is following you.
Third the checkered blanket. If she wished to harm you, she would have already (as if to smother you). Since this is the bedroom, it seems to me…
She is taking care of you as a motherly figure, getting ready to cover you with the blanket as you are sleeping.
For whatever reason, this entity is attached to you. She does not seem harmful! I suggest talking to her. When you have your room to yourself when noone can hear you, just talk to her as you would anyone else in the room.
This approach has worked for me with numerous spirits, and I have one who has been following me for over 40 years. (and I moved countries too) I talk to mine, and get results usually within a couple days. Mine is a trickster, and I usually have to demand a return of something. But, I discovered this after years of minimal interaction.
So just talk to her and see why she is there. Sounds to me like a beneficial arrangement.

She clearly has a connection to you. She could be an ancestor. The fact you can’t see her face is interesting. What is her hair like? The color of her skin? Is there any temperature change or smell when she appears? Does she emit any light?
I agree with the others that she doesn’t seem hostile, but it’s up to your intuition on how her energy reads. I would also try speaking to her - be calm and respectful and open-minded to what she might say. See if you can get a name. If you do, see if it connects to any past family or friends. It’s also possible she’s a different kind of spirit though. Cheers. 
Im going to say that its safe to say that this is a non-threatening presence. I do believe that for reasons unknown, that this lady is trying to reach out to you and communicate with you. I wouldnt worry about it as long as it is not malicious and stirring up chaos or mismanaged fear and anxiety. Have you ever done any work in communicating with the deceased?
Being new to all of this witchy goodness, I can’t say I have. I’ve also come across the term “broom closet”, I am in fact in the broom closet. Can you recommend me anything that will help me do so?
She’s pale, her hair, black, she emits no temperature nor light. She just watches she could be an ancestor, but I always assumed those types of spirits would stay in their place of death, considering my family stems from a singular part of latin America.

I mentioned her to my mother when I was younger. She told me that red and black were colors that satanist use. Considering she is a heavy Christian i didn’t really take her opinion to heart. But other than that i can’t think of anything else the blanket may be related to.
I see! Sounds like she’s likely an ancestor. See if you can get a name and you might need to start researching your family tree.
Nope. Their remains may remain there but they also have connections to your blood - hence why she’s followed you throughout your life no matter where you go. That behavior also makes me think she could be an ancestor. Ancestors often play the role of protectors.
