Hey everyone! New here. Found the page via google lol I’m finally delving further into my craft. I’m an eclectic witch and excited to learn further and meet more witches!
Thank you and I have just absolutely thrown myself into learning and figuring out spells and rituals on the sabbats … I just absolutely feel like for once in my life I have something I believe in … connecting with nature and astrology is so fulfilling
thank you very much!
Greetings All! So excited about discovering this site today. have been interested in witchcraft for quite sometime but never knew anyone else who was so always felt a bit lost as to where to start.
I love plants and now that i finally have my own wonderfull piece of wilderness, I am getting quite a collection growing. I especially love herbs and unusual plants.
Beyond happy to be here with like-minded lovely people like yourselves.
Positive vibes, thoughts and words make the world a more beautiful place.
Welcome Liebenswerte, glad you found your way here. Your slice of nature sounds wonderful and since i’ve just closed my garden for the season, I’m excited to ask what are you growing? Especially the unusual ones??
Hello, my name is Katie
I’ve been practicing since I was 14, though my path has been a bit on-and-off lately. Recently, a podcast reignited my curiosity and passion for the craft, and I’ve felt called to reconnect and deepen my learning. I don’t follow a specific label—just exploring with an open heart and an eclectic spirit. I’m truly happy to be here and looking forward to learning from this space. I have a lot of questions, and I’m grateful to be in such magical company. Thank you for the warm welcome already.
Hi AerisK
I have some jiaogulan, olivenkraut, pepper sage and just picked up a chocolate daisy. There’s also a mini fig tree that is supposed to be able to stand temperatures down to -15 celsius. Winter hardiness is also something I have to consider. Winters can be very cold here.
I am very happy that my second attempt at growing hyssop from seed so far seems successful. Lots of culinary herbs (purple & green basil, rosemary, parsley, sage, oregano, thyme, mugwort, wild garlic, 3 colors of lavender) i am looking forward to trying out the mugwort in a dream tea thought perhaps since i grew it from seed the extra love and intention i put into it may give it a bit more kick.
I also have yellow zucchini, pumkpins, corn, borrage, potatoes, chilis, eggplants. There’s an assortment of different berries on the property - including wild strawberries that grow everywhere. There’s some cherries, apples and what i suspect are plums.
Hi Katie and Welcome!
There are so many of us returning to our practices, it feels meaningful and refreshing. I’m glad to be a part of it with you and am looking forward to learning from your methods.
Wow Liebenswerte!!
You’re growing plants I’ve never heard of, or maybe under different names, love it! Heat is our problem here, even cactus give up sometimes. Our dormant months are July - mid Sept so I’m living vicariously through your green oasis.
Congrats on getting the hyssop growing, that was always our tea (w/red raspberry & honey) when we were sick as kids. Do you make teas from most of your herbs? Your kitchen must be the best kind of busy at harvest time.
Most of the herbs i use in cooking. I have made sage, rosemary and thyme teas. Never had hyssop before so i will definitely give your tea suggestion a try. I have used the herbs to make my own smudge sticks.
Hi Liebenswerte,
So nice to meet you! Your nick give me the vibes that you live in Germany. That would be really awesome, because i do .
Oh wow, herbalism. If you like we can chat a bit on that topic. I have my own garden but i‘m a beginner.
Many blessings,
Rosi
Thank you so very much … I feel like for the first time in my life that I have found my calling … It feels like I am traveling down a good path
hi my name is Zoe and I’m a solitary witch. I’m relatively new to the craft but I’ve been doing witchcraft for about 3 years or so, and I currently reside in northern Virginia
