I figured it’d be a good idea to let you all in on some of the magik spells I use for hunting. Just note that a lot of the spells were inspired by games. Nerdy but it works for as a reference as to how the spell should come out.
First and foremost is a type of conjuration magik that can manifest spiritual weapons. I usually opt for a sword since I have experience with blades. Usually, I just think it and it it’s create with the energies around my immediate vicinity. This one is probably the hardest one for me to explain because, unlike with pyromancy where I have some experience with, along with lunar magik, I have no real idea how it’s done.
Second is pyromancy. This can be very useful for crowd control or against cryptids that are fearful of fire. With pyromancy, focus on the energies around you and convert it into a flame that covers your hand. (Imagine a glove made of fire.) This is your pyromancy catalyst. There are the basic ones like flame ball, flame orb, flame spray/flamethrower. Focus more on the heat within the flame and make it stronger and you’ll get yourself “chaos” pyromancy. This will allow you to throw balls of magma. If you fuse the spirit of fire with the darkness that harbors within you, you can get black flames that can invoke a sense of fear in your target and burn away faster, if done right. If done wrong, you might end up succumbing to the dark, so stay light.
Lightning magik is another I use. This is more of a blessing, since thor himself had blessed me with the abilityto harness lightning. It can be thrown like a spear, thrown down in front of me to create a barrier of lightning, and bless my blade with lightning as well.
Last is Lunar magik. With the energies I absorb from the moon, I can use it to create blessings and wards for when I’m in over my head. I usually go for a blessing that fortifies my magik. One thing to mention is that it can be used for combative spells, like lunar flame or lunar ice, I prefer to use it strictly for blessings out of respect, unless I absolutely have to use it.
I do utilize other types of magik, but I honestly suck at explaining how it’s done. It just kinda happens to work out when I think of spells from games. Not sure if that means I’m built different but it works so, I can’t complain much.
