Spell Ideas for. . .Whatever This Is?

I am in need of a spell, but I don’t even know what it would necessarily relate to.

I left my husband on July 1st. He had been covertly abusing me for our entire relationship, and I finally had enough.

If you know anything about abusers (and I hope for your sake that you don’t), you’re well aware that one of their favourite tactics is to isolate you. This makes you weaker and easier to manipulate/control, thus drastically reducing the likelihood of you having the strength to stand up for yourself or leave them.

My husband happily employed this method, but I left him anyway. I honestly don’t know where I found the strength, but I did it.

Now I’m on my own and I’m not okay. I had difficulty trusting people before I met him, but what little faith I had in humanity is basically destroyed now. He knew what I went through before meeting him (a lot), and despite the vow he made to me, put me through more.

Since I left him it’s been one ridiculous situation after another, from my faithful old car dying literally right after I left to endless bureaucratic garbage at every turn, to my new landlady lying about everything under the sun and being generally sketchy, to the people who moved in upstairs making endless noise and ignoring my polite requests (and the bottle of wine I bought them) to please be more respectful, and so on.

Long story short, I am at the end of my rope. I need healing, hope, support, and I don’t know what else. A complete life overhaul? The ability to go back in time and fix everything from the time I was five? Does anyone have any spell ideas? Thank you.

(And please, for the love of everything sane, don’t suggest therapy.)

I think a lot of people could use such a spell right now.

I’m pretty much a mirror image but with a wife of 35 years that cares not for wedding vows.

Also dealing with dead vehicles and shady landlady. Plus crippling autism. Not to hijack the

thread, just so you know you’re not alone.

Ugh. I wanted to write “I’m sorry you’re going through all that,” but maybe you’re like me in that you’re sick to death of hearing it.

I hope things get better for you. :pink_heart:

Greetings and blessing three fold

I know you said you don’t want therapy but is there a support group that you could join, if only to make friends. Just a thought. I do wish you well on your new adventure.

I appreciate the suggestion but in my (albeit limited) experience those groups are cesspools of despair and breeding grounds for hopelessness. Have you seen Fight Club? The truth isn’t far off.
