My name is Steve, and I have always been able to sense energies around me. Until just a few years ago, I have only been able to sense these energies as physical sensations in my body. That began to change after 2021.
I was in a horrible mental hospital a few years ago in my room alone, and it was late at night. I was still wide aware and looking around my room because I sensed something. I looked near the door 
of my room, and then I saw something. It was a shadow that was darker than the night itself just standing in the corner. There was no light that could have been casting the shadow. As I watched, the shadow began to slowly move across the room. There was no light to cast the shadow, I made sure of that. I watched it in terror as it moved, but I forgot my fear for a moment and cast a protection spell. The shadow did not stop moving, and disappeared into the far wall without losing a step. I could not believe my eyes, so I kept looking around the room in case it came back. It did not, but that was not the last time I saw something like that.
In late August or early September of 2023, I was in another hospital with pneumonia. It was night, but my room was brightly lit. There was an older gentleman on the other side of the room, and the room was divided by a curtain. Once again I was wide awake because something “felt” wrong. I looked up on the ceiling of my room and saw something. Crawling on the ceiling was a black shadow the size of a human. The shadow was ebon black, and just crawling around on the ceiling. I could not make out any features, but I could see that it had long hair. It crawled on the ceiling to the other side of the room, and went towards my roommate. A few days later I was admitted to the mental health ward of the hospital. I know what I saw, but nobody ever believed me, so I had to spend a year and a half in the state mental hospital which was one of the most oppressive places I have ever been. Could the shadows have been some kind of supernatural entities? I know how this sounds, but I am absolutely sure that I saw something. The very fact that I also sensed an energy shift in those rooms at the moment of the sightings convinced me that I was not just imagining it. Does anyone out there believe me? Nobody ever believed that I could sense negative energy either, until it began to affect me physically. When dark energies were around, I would suddenly feel like I was being shocked like I put my fingers in a light socket. That only happened at certain places that seemed to have a very dark past. Sometimes I still get the feeling that I am being watched, but that is only when I am alone and the time is usually between 3am-4am, and only at certain places. It is not just a minor feeling either. When it happens, I am also unable to move for a few seconds, even in mid-stride. Everyone I talk to says that I am just imagining things. Then why is it only at certain places when I am alone and late at night? As I got older, those feelings have become stronger and more developed. I know that these feelings and experiences are real, but everyone just thinks that it was just my imagination.
