One of my creations during my witch's way path

I have been involved with many magical paths in my life, since I was 13. I am 63 now and have worked on this circle for a while. It is 9ft in diameter and measured it the old way. With my own cord I wrap around my ritual robe. Made with white quartz and some are geodes, lapis(air), citrine(fire), moonstone(water) and tigereye(earth). Lots of work for myself and then my son. The flat rocks are granite. I found the quartz on my family’s land and the granite from a landscaping company. I would love to see any creation you have. I was lucky to live in the country.

That looks amazing! When I had my farm, most I could do was just a little nook under two

double-tree evergreens for offering hot tea to the local Fae. Still in the closet, you see.

That’s so cool!

I pray one day I could have my own outdoor space, with at least a tree I could meditate under and do offerings. In this fantasy it would be a fig tree, but any tree would do lol.

When I lived in Cali we used to do rituals at the beach and in the forested areas inland, especially on camping trips. Those were some good times. :white_heart:

Merrry Meet! Great question. I have plants inside and outside the circel to represent Gods and Goddesses. I have yellow bells on the outside and all kinds of daisies because I give tribute to the Greek God Apollo and the Sun. Inside I have Violets for the purple color for Hecate. Dandelions keeps on coming up, after I pull them up, so I believe that Apollo was insisting. My son and I work hard to pull grass up in my circle, but it keeps coming back, but It does represent Gaia, so I keep it out of my path for Lesser Pentagram Ritual and other rituals I have to use the Equal Cross and that plant is stubborn. Daisies in General because they have been said to represent the Sun. Several plants I tried to grow there, but they did not like the soil. That picture was taken, after the fact. I have herbs planted there too. My son and I clean out the area every few years and replant. I try my best to keep the colors going based on the Element and Cardinal direction. Doesn’t work, so I am always surpised on what blooms and what comes up every year. My Next move is to plant Roses of a different color for the directions. Blue, black, yellow and red. OH, I have sage on the outside too. Yeah it is a big area. Next year, I am pulling up some of the grass and planting more seeds. My son just groaned. I forgot that in the center I have Hyacinths, which symbolizing Hyacinthus, A Spartan, which was sacred to Apollo. I want to plant garlic in the west for Hecate, which is her favorite. Right next to her statue at that pillow with the water bowl and the Shells. A small statue. I have Apollo statue at the East pillow, where the whirligids are. Looking for a small statue of Aphrodite for the South and Nix for the North. I planted herbs a few weeks ago, hoping they will come up before frost. Sorry for my long description.

Thank you. I go to the beach myself to do ritual and bring back Ocean water and shells. I used to have a circle in the woods at a creek that forked to make an island, but after the lake was built, my family got happy with fixing the lots and I can see their houses from the circle AND they claim to be hardcore Christians. Even though I am on my Grandmother’s land, I didn’t want to make wave by doing rituals, especially late at night, so I decided to build this circle on my property, but I still show decretion. I do yoga and meditation in the circle to, so people see me there all the time. To the left of that circle you may can tell there is a road there. Hopefully I am going to the beach this year. I am asking the Goddess to hopefully make it happen. I love to see the Sun rise at the beach. It is epic to me.

Great. I studied Faery Wicca for years, because of my decendants came from Ireland and Scotland. I give offering to them all the time to take care of my garden. I know they are there because they move stuff around, things disappear in the yard and my circle to be back in a month or two. The biggest joke they did to me was I have a bloodstone palm stone which I love. It went missing, I panicked and assume it fell out of my pocket, while in town shopping. Months passed. I was planting a rose in my yard. As I was digging the hole, I turned the shovel over to place the dirt on the ground and something rolled on the ground. We are always finding quartz crystals here. It was my bloodstone, buried in the ground. I was amazed and relieved, they had it and I did not loose it. My son is into Shintoism and his Patron God is Inari, (grumble) I was so hoping he would go either Greek or Roman, but okay. Now we have Foxes and Fae and that is a mess, but a fun mess. My Son has a Void Fox as a Guardian and that is crazy. I know because I was coming back from my bedroom. He likes to sleep on the couch next to his Shrine. I gasped because there was a huge black fox sitting on the couch. Big beautiful yellow eyes and you could not miss that tail. I leave out milk for the Fae and try not to have iron around. I have one Railroad spike at my window above my bed to hopefully keep them from pulling pranks. I felt bad, so I removed it. Now picture this, we have cats, foxes and Fae and believe they like to play together and there is never a dull moment in my house. Except for some reason, when I am watching Anime. It is also weird that they get really roudy, when I turn on my playstation.

Ask you Patron Lord and Lady or whoever for help and that opportunity will come around. I believe that will all my soul you will have it. I say whoever, because for years and the awful way I was treated by Christians, I had a hard time including a Lord in my Circle, until I realized how much I like the Sun and Music, hence Apollo. During my travel on the east coast I met people who used Jesus and Mary as their Lord and Lady…WHHHAAT?! It worked for them and I believe for whatever reason, it was the will of the Goddess, so Live and Let Live. People don’t believe I did most of that circle myself and I have three other circle in my yard for different reasons. I will probably sooner or later have picture here, since it finally worked. I changed my internet provider and for some reason that was the problem.

I have nothing as spectacular as your amazing creation and I only live in modest suburbia, but every Summer I like to make little habitats for the Nature Spirits in different corners of my garden.

Here’s my latest version for this Summer, 2026

Not to derail the thread, but I’m autistic and things drive me a bit batty. Maybe you can answer

this riddle. I have a working theory, just my own head canon now. I think Fae dislike Iron for two

distinct reasons. Normal iron that humans smelt, it reminds them of how during the Bronze Age

the Fae interacted with humans much more. But when the Iron Age came, the bloody violence

of humans made them retreat from us. Second thing is the type of iron. Before the iron age,

there was iron in the world but it was Sky Iron, from meteorites. These came from a planet in

our solar system that no longer exists, destroyed by some cataclysm. They know what happened

(we don’t) and it’s the origin of the myth that we see in modern tales as Superman’s Kryptonite.

Wether it’s just a painful reminder or an actual ‘allergy’ to that iron, IDK. But the older a piece of

iron is (say horseshoe or nail/spike) the more likely it contains some sky iron. Opinions welcome.

( EDIT: If you want to move this to a separate topic I’m good with that too.)

Thoughtful Thursday Whitecrow,

That is beautiful!!!

I didn’t know..thanks for that. I don’t think I have any iron in my back garden. Lots of wood -fence, gate, etc but no metal.

That’s true! I habitually ask them very little - a hold-over habit from working with my old deites. My new deities are very different though!

You’re so lucky that you can at least drive to the ocean! As a Cancer there’s nothing I miss more than the ocean. If I had the option to have everything my heart desires, it would be having a fig tree near the pacific. If I had that I’d think I’d died and gone to the Pure Lands! lol

Thank you. :white_heart: I understand what you mean. I’m fortunate that I didn’t have to live through being raised in a Christian family, but I have had to deal with their “hell” much later in life…

I’ve never had a problem working with male deities, I think because I don’t have that early trauma. In fact most of my deities have been male, which I know is rare in the pagan world lol. That’s so cool reading about your relationship with Apollo. He’s by far the Greek god I respect the most!! :yellow_heart: His sister is also lovely!

That’d be very cool to see your other pictures! :lotus:
