I’ve been doing a lot of spiritual work on myself over the past two years, and it has led me here! I’ve always been intrigued by witchcraft, tarot, astrology, etc, but I’ve never gone out of my way to really learn about or practice any of it. I’ve been taking in information and feeling very inspired and eager to take a step. I’m not looking to do anything big or have any major influence over others. Right now, I’m just looking for step one to help me focus my behavior, rather than just my intellect, in this practice. An altar? A morning or evening ritual? A moon ritual? A simmer pot? I would love some feedback on one very simple step I can take to begin to integrate a self-focused practice into my day. Thank you so much!
There are so many ways you could do this, and ultimately it will come down to your personal choice abd what you are comfortable with.
And easy way to get started could be to light a candle and focus your intent to what you want to do with your practice.
Or maybe find a nice place to sit in nature and focus on the wonders that surround you that are often missed in today’s busy society.
Another option is to verbally state what you are feeling blessed about.
You could buy some coloured string and tie knots, focusing your energy.
If you have read something that really resonates with you, maybe try doing that.
If you have a chosen deity, a small statue or item bearing their image might be a great way to start, as you are letting them into your life. (i have a crow feather for this)
The great thing is, buy asking this question, you have already started.
