Hello and good morning or night whichever it may be,
Ive been very interested in kitchen witchcraft and I was wondering how to get started? Ive been making teas and adding cinnamon, honey, and sometimes milk for certain effects (I’m unsure about what exactly milk would do in a tea though). does this count as kitchen witchcraft or something else? Also, I’ve never been the best at cooking or baking, will this effect the quality of the spells?

As long as you are adding you intention to what ever you are making, then yes.
Consider it the same as using candles and burning paper (for example).
I would write a better reply, but it is 5.15 am where I am and I need to get up and head to work.

IDK much, but other witches in my coven know and post about it in our Discord.
Me, I can’t even cook. Except eggs. All else is frozen or fresh/raw.
You know, here’s tip #1 for Fae. If you have a yard, and have evergreens in it,
make two cups and put one out for Fae under the evergreen. Anytime, but night
is best. Make sure it’s hot and steaming, it’s the steam they enjoy.

thank you so much, Im a Hellenic pagan, would fae be the same things as Naiads or other nymphs? Also I don’t have evergreens in my yard but there’s a rose bush who I think may be an anthusai can I do the same for them?
Too late to look those up, but Fae are all over the world, with as many names as there are peoples. I also use Jinn interchangeably.
The main thing is to pick a secluded space out of the sun, evergreens usually have low, wide branches that create such a space, but you can certainly improvise. In my new home I’m going to have to put such offerings under the deck, after I clear a nice area for that. My yard is tiny, no trees at all. Oh, and no iron anywhere near that space. They just don’t like it.

Merry Meet Eliot,
Hello again!! I agree with Red…he and I seem to be on the same page on a lot of things….Remember, it is intention, not “stuff”, not “words”…if you are a Christian, you should be familiar with this (don’t remember the exact place in the Bible…but..) “do not use vain babblings, as the heathens do….” Which reminds US….that is NOT the words….anyone can those a million times….sorry y’all, but I’m here from Vegas….are the MOB guys “forgiven” for their “vain babblings”?….Don’t think so… not words, nor stones, nor how many times you turn around…solves the issue….magick is INTENT…without intent…it’s like taking aspirin FOR a headache BEFORE you hit your head with a hammer!!! AHHHH, what?!!! Be mindful, Know yourself, Know the World….things will fall in place….focusing on yourself, is focusing on the ID…which is EGO…..EGO is only about what “I” want….magick is about conforming the elements to your will, but not as an exclusive “wish”….must be good for all.

Hello again Eliot,
Kitchen witchery, is as simple as chanting while stirring the soup. Mindfully adding ingredients to your cake, or dinner that you are making. You can cook using sun/moon water. Such simple ways, witchcraft is NOT about how/what you do as a devotional. Magick is about centering your focus NOT on you only!! But how, you and the world can work together for the good of ALL.
That is how I approach it. Yes, ask for things for me and my family, but I do not ask for material things. I ask for safety, protection, help with a job for the family members, keeping everyone healthy. Of course, magick is not a “snap of the fingers”; you still have to DO something. You’re not gonna get the job, if you don’t apply for it. You won’t get the job, if you go to the interview in you sleeping clothes. So, yes, there are some things you need to do, but it is not the” thing”, stuff, words, “turn around 3 times and spit” type of magic that TV/movies want you to think. I believe that is part of why magic is considered “evil”. We always see it being used for immediate results, which is rarely the case.
Sensational Saturday, Lady Gene

As an eclectic wiccan these are some of a guide I would say when I practice;
-
Set Intentions:
Before cooking, decide what you want to achieve (e.g., love, healing, peace) and focus on that goal.
-
Choose Ingredients Wisely:
Select items that align with your intention and their magical properties.
-
Mindful Actions:
Chop herbs with focus, stir clockwise for positive energy, and thank ingredients for their gifts.
-
Create Rituals:
Infuse a simple cup of tea with calming intentions or draw a protective sigil on a casserole dish before baking.
-
Utilize Tools:
Bless kitchen tools, place crystals for harmony, or use a broom for protection. This is the most simplified guide. As other has said that intent is the first step. Knowing or studying what different ingredients represent. Example yes cinnamon and hot peppers can be used to speed up an intent while honey and sugar is used as suggested “sweeten”. Hope this helps!

It’s still an open request where I DL the PDF’s, on FB where I only read stuff. And download stuff, obviously. Probably 100’s of GIGABYTES of PDF’s on FB groups. Problem is finding them.
Merry Musing My Magical Mavens,
Sedim, I don’t want to try and date myself….but I am an “old lady” and do not know what all your initials in bold type mean. I know PDF, but the rest
Alpha, loved how you explained how to do it all in the kitchen
. Lady Gene
Sorry, I’m old too but a techy from waaaay back. DL = download, FB = facebook.
I’ll try to be more conscious of these semi-automatic short-hands. I know any ‘lingo’ is frustrating.

You made me giggle. I am a 3rd generation dealer here in Vegas. Our lingo, the casinos and dealers, I’m sure is something you wouldn’t understand either. Example, a George. When a dealer gets “tapped-out” (change dealers), they might say to the other one….3rd base is George (Georgette), meaning the person in that seat is a GREAT toker….take care of them, make sure they have drinks, money, cigarettes, whatever, because they are giving us good money. So, that is a George or Georgette, a lingo that only casino dealers understand.

Cool. I probably would be considered that when I’m there, I sit at the roulette table.
The cheapest one of course. I know blackjack, but prefer that. It’s where all the foreigners come, right?
I bring as much money as I would spend on a ‘night on the town’, dinner & show. It’s pure entertainment!
Super Sunday Sedim,
I have to giggle
, tourists always would ask me about the shows. They always assume, since I live here, I have seen them all. Not at $330 per ticket average!!! My favorite place to eat is Benihana’s
About 20 years ago, I took the fam. Me, husband, daughter, her husband, their 2 kids, my youngest, we took the whole tepanyaki table. That was about $500, back then, probably about $1200+ now.

Roulette is my favorite game to deal. I was the Graveyard Roulette dealer for about 6 years.
Then you know, right? people from all over the world! It’s like the world in microcosm.
They don’t have 00 in most other places, but I’ll put up with that.
And easy-peasy easier than anything else in the casino, you can get so drunk almost fall off the stool and still do OK.
Those show prices are crazy! 300$? Must be way different than in the 70’s when the food & shows were at a loss just to get feet in the door.
I hear the casinos are’nt doing so good since covid, how’s it now?
Still waiting. The request has not been declined, so probably no one with the PDF has seen it yet.
