i’m a 15 year old, SUPER DUPER BABY wiccan and aspiring witch! i’ve always seen myself ever since childhood as being drawn towards the stars, moon, and nature (especially insects! i love them so much!). my mum has also mentioned that full moons tend to make me more reactive and prone to getting easily irritated, which only strengthens my beliefs! i havent tried any spells yet and still am gathering ideas on how to build starting rapport with the God and Goddess, i’m currently reading Wicca: A Guide for The Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham to learn more about Wicca, the Craft and the Wheel Of The Year! it’s been so interesting exploring Wicca and magic, and i hope to be a electic/solitary Wiccan witch!
i hope i did my intro well!! i’m not super experienced with forums wuahh >_<
Hi! I just finished the same book and am also brand new to the practice. Welcome, this is an excellent place for support and learning. (This is based on my week of experience here. lol)
Jenny beat me to it. I have 3 books that I always recommend for starters, and that is the first on my list. Very easy read, and short. Let’s you know if this is right for you. Also–
Buckland’s Complete Book of Witchcraft (called “Buckland’s Big Blue”) by Raymond Buckland. This is a little more in depth, with a little about different Wiccan practices, and is a workbook with question and space for notes at the end of each chapter.
A Witches Bible: The Complete Witches’ Handbook by Janet & Stewart Farrar. This one is very in-depth and ritualistic in Gardnerian Wicca.
These are my go-to’s.
Welcome to our pack
I host a tarot thread Tarot Tribute July 2026. Stop by if you want to join conversation about tarot.
Welcome, Ruie! I’m also a teen, call me Jasper! I don’t consider myself Wiccan (what I am is pretty complicated, Unitarian Universalist eclectic Pagan currently learning more about Buddhism to add it to my own practices), but everyone here is super open, friendly, and helpful! (Myself included )
Welcome to the forum! (Don’t worry, you did great with your intro! )
Welcome! That’s the perfect book for beginners who are on that path. You’re in the right place! Let us know if you need any help getting started. Your intro was great!
