Welcome to the forum!
You’ve come to the right place. We can never have too much learning, don’t forget to
check out the web site, lots of good gems there! Do you have a local IRL coven?
I dont have a local covenant where I live. I would love to be included in one
I was lucky, there was one local I found with this: mandragoramagika
Maybe you will find one a bit further away?
Super Sunday Babygirl,
Welcome to our pack
!! Here are a few books to get you started. I listed them easiest read to more difficult.
Here is my suggested reading for newbies:
Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham**a very easy read.
Buckland’s Complete Book of Witchcraft (Affectionately called Buckland’s Big Blue) by Raymond Buckland**this is almost like a workbook, with little exercises at the end of each chapter. This book is a little more in-depth than Scotts book and explains a little about the different Wiccan “denominations” if you will.
A Witches Bible: The Complete Witches’ Handbook by Janet and Stewart Farrar** this is very ritualistic and is Garnerian Wicca. This explains indepth the rituals of Wicca.
These 3 are good starting points.
Take a look around there is a lot to see ![]()

There’s an old saying that it’s hard to think about draining the swamp when you are up to your ass in alligators. Your gift is your ability to look past society’s efforts to control you (the alligators), and to appreciate who you truly are. You are made of stardust, and the power of the universe is within you. Feel it coursing through your veins, learn to harness it, to focus your intention, to be the magick. Welcome and Brightest Blessings!
Thank you so much for that insight. I never really thought of it that way.
