Hi everyone.
I go by many names, but you can call me ulv.
I got into magic and witchcraft a few years ago, mainly because I learned that my ancestors used to practice it before my own mother was even born, until they became heavily catholic. I just want to bring that back, at least for me.
I like to identify myself as a green witch. I adore working with herbs and nature. I also enjoy enchanting food! So maybe a kitchen witch as well.
What I’d like to get out of the forum is mainly learn from others, since I enjoy reading about different practices. I can’t say I can contribute much since I know I’m not a constant practitioner, but if you ever want to know a bit about norse and/or mesoamerican things, hmu.
I’m not usually drawn to covens, chat groups, or forums, but this one here looked nice and I wanted to give it a try

Norse practices I know well, as those are also my ancestors - but Mesoamerica I don’t know so much about. That’s very interesting!
I can’t help but notice your wolf avatar - are you perhaps an Ulfhednar/Wolf-Shaman? Asking for my past-self lol. (I used to be one.)

I’m currently studying prehispanic / mesoamerican magic, rituals, and many other things I discovered my great-grandparents used to do.
And yes, I accidentally discovered that I could work with wolf energy (if I may call it that way haha) a few years ago. I kinda see it as shamanism or being a nahual, given my ancestor’s practices

Very cool! Absolutely - shamanic practices pre-date everything, I think it dwells in the souls of many. I’m still a Shaman, my style just changed a little lol. Good to see another wolf ally.
