The questions for Tarot for this week;

Feb 15–Pull 3 cards and “tell” a story -this is just for practice in reading cards, not necessarily relating to you.

Feb 16–Where might I have an obstacle today?

Feb 17–What part of my shadow should I work on?

Feb 18–How can I show compassion today?

Feb 19–Am I being nudged into a new direction? Where?

Feb 20–Am I ready for change?

Fabulous Friday, I am changing this for the last day this week. Maybe this will be easier for many people and may encourage more participation.
This is an “exercise” but not in reading the tarot. This will be a little more “fun” without having to learn how to read the cards.

Pull 3 cards today, and find a song that speaks to that card. I will post an example so that people may understand and have fun with this.

So, I have a 3 card pull and I’ll place the song it seems to say to me next to it.

My story, this kind of came together out of order.

Merry Monday my Magicians,

So, the question today,

I made a 3 card pull. 2 wands, in the middle with Magician on the Left and 5 swords on the right.

Looks like obstacles may be in the planning (2 wands) but I have the power (Magician) to NOT turn anything into a Phyrric victory (5 swords).

My narrative read is as follows. What part of my shadow should I work on?

I need to retain my adventurous spirit (Knight Wands) by letting go of the past (13 Death), yet remaining responsible for my present and future (Knight Pentacles)

Wacky Wednesday Witches,

I used a 7 card horseshoe pull to get a theme and then the modifier cards. My spread was interesting. Swords (intellect), final K of cups (emotional control) with major arcana all over the place. My read comes to this….anxiety will be the subject of today (9 Swords), difficult decisions must be made, with emphasis on staying focused to reach the goal of self-control over emotions. So, how can I show compassion today? By understanding that some difficult decisions must be made that will not be easy. So, take it slow and look at the problem from all angles.

Good Luck to everyone….how is the Lunar New Year/Eclipse working for everybody? We are having flooding rain right now. (Vegas, our rains can be serious) Lady Gene :turtle:

Thankful Thursday Folks,

So my pull today–This is such a direct question that I decided on a single card pull

3–Empress

How to read just a single card? Well, the Empress is a positive card, so am I being nudged? Yes

In a new direction? I see the Empress as nurture, so to nurture my natural skills, would be my creativity when it comes to writing.

So to answer am I being nudged in a particular direction, if so, where?

Yes, I am gently being pushed to re-ignite my passion for the written word.

Well, I started this posting/blog, so maybe this is the start.

Looking forward to other witches thoughts/actions here with the tarot.

Fabulous Friday my Faerie Friends,

So the question for today’s pull

This sounded like a 3-card pull, theme in the middle with modifiers on each side.

My theme, middle card was King Cups–consideration, on the L, the 9 Wands–persistence (for Star Trek fans, I always consider this a Paklid “nothing if not persistent”) and on the R, 5 Wands–challenge/friendly competition. Well, at first glance, wands….action, with the emotions in the middle.

Here is my read–The King tells me yes, I am ready for a change in my life, but remain considerate of the feelings of others. The 9 lets me know to remain persistent, but quietly, for the change I am seeking, but to expect some “fighting” along the way, but not detrimental fighting, more like a “razzing” from those close to me.

I hope everyone is having fun.

On a different note, this is almost the end of week 3 and I have had very little participation. I will post for next week the end of the month. However, if there is no participation, I see no purpose in continuing.

This has been a fun exercise, I wish others had joined in; there is little learning, reading cards on my own.

Welcome any and all for next week. If there is no response next week, it will be my last attempt to start an interactive “class” for the tarot.
