I have been wondering how we can be more interactive with one another. This is my idea/proposal… Will y’all be willing to a Monthly Tarot pull? I can post a theme/card for the month. Then a list of questions for each day. Then each day, those who wish to participate, answer the daily pull question. It may give great insight, on the way others read the cards. It will help us become more confident in our readings. I’ll wait for the month to start. If there is enough interest, I will start in February, and we’ll see where it goes from there. If you’re interested…let me know!!! THIS WEEK. So, we can start in February.
Have A Wonderful Weekend, Wacky Witches!! Lady Gene
Super Saturday Sedim (and all our wonderful witches),
Thank-you for asking such a question . First off, people should have their own tarot deck. If not, I have heard of free web-sites, but I do not use AI. (so, I do not know what sites there are) Personally, I feel that tarot should have a human approach. You cannot teach a computer nuances. However, if someone uses AI, it is okay. Because, remember, it is what makes you feel comfortable that is what is important in the Craft.
So, to continue. I will pull a group card for the theme for the month. Then I will post questions each week. For the day, make your pull/read. Post what you pulled, and what you interpret the cards to mean. That is your “read” of the cards.
This gives us all a chance to see interpretations of the cards, as it also helps ourselves with our practice.
So, anyone interested??? If I have enough people (don’t know..10?), I will post something for February to start, and we’ll see what happens??
I am in NO way qualified to TEACH tarot. I am new myself (within the last year). I remember the ‘70’s decks. I have a new RWS (Rider Waite Smith). There are many out there. To start, I suggest a deck with the pictures AND explanations on the card. The easiest way to learn. I have 3 RWS decks, 1 Earth Woman deck, and a Political deck. I suggest starting with the Rider-Waite-Smith, since that is the imagery that is the basis of all tarot decks. From there, it is much easier to change to other imagery. All decks bought new, usually come with a little guide on the general meanings. I happen to like Lisa Papez, Unlocking the Tarot….and no, this is not a sale…I’m not even steering you to a website……That is just a good and easy book.
Sedim and Red….thinking about this….I’m just gonna post something….I’ll label it February Tarot 2026. Any questions about what will be coming, I’ll post here, as a reply to myself. As you can probably guess….I’m not very computer savvy. Then with the February posts, I will do the same thing. So, February, I’ll use a trial run….and we’ll see.
As always, go with your gut. I use the guide as a basis, but there is 1 maybe 2 cards that I do NOT agree with the “meaning” so I do not read it that way. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Let’s just put it like this…The meanings given are A (upright), or B (reversed). All that really means, is that when I see it…I read the upright with the definition more like B, so the definition for reversed I will read like their way A. What I am trying to say, is it does not have to be what “they say”. The whole point of Tarot, is the imagery, with the thoughts that it provokes. So how you “see/read” the cards, is your way. Just stay consistent. People will read the cards very differently, and you will be able to understand how they see it that way. And it can expand you knowledge and comfort with the cards. At least, this is what I hope all of us will be able to get out of it.
Saturday…Well, working on what to post to start with, and I pulled one of the cards that I read completely different. Of course, that’s why my mom called me Charlie Brown….something always happens to me.
I posted the first week of February tarot pulls on February 2026 Daily Tarot Pull/Read. I will post my first read a little early so that y’all will be able to see how the “conversation” will unfold. I hope that people join in and have fun interpreting the cards First week of February is there…and if it works well, I’ll continue with the next week. So, we’ll see. Lady Gene
For all following this thread, I will try to post the first “read” (for February 1) sometime today, on the February thread. This will be an example of the way to post. I will put my first real read for the first on the first….again, the first post will be an example….Lady Gene
Hello to all, if you are here, welcome. February 1 I will be hosting a monthly group tarot pull. You will find it under February 2026 Daily Tarot Pull/Read. I started to post, to get everyone ready for it. I posted the theme for the month, and the first week of questions. I provided and example answer, but yet, I really did pull and read the cards for the example. February 1, we will go “live” and I will post a Feb 1 read to start.
Thank-you for your interest, and look forward to seeing you there.
I hope you have taken some time to explore the questions for the February Tarot Pull , only 1 day to go. I will post the start of the month, starting Monday, February 1. Thank-you for joining and looking forward to group participation.
I made an horseshoe but gave the card places different meanings. I decided what the placements would mean BEFORE I posed the question and read the cards WOW The read was so spot-on, I might change the meaning of the spread to this layout.
I am not computer savvy, don’t know how to get pictures here…..so, I will type it out as best I can.
The horseshoe layout is like a horseshoe over your door, with the open end pointing up (to hold in the luck). So 7 cards….3 from top to bottom on the left, 4 the middle, 5, 6, 7, moving upward on the right. I drew the center card first (the querent), the cards 1,2,3 on the left, and 5,6,7, up on the right. Here are the values I gave the cards….1 and 7, past and present—next cards down, 2 and 6, goal and obstacle—next cards down 3 and 5, action to take and likely outcome. Card 4, is the querent, in the middle (but the first card drawn).
This read worked out so well , I might keep using these meanings for the placements.
