Hello! My name is Lyz, and I’m 40 years old. I’ve been curious about witchcraft, magic, rituals, etc for as long as I can remember, but never took the time to really explore or learn about it. Recently I’ve been doing spiritual work that has me really wanting to create some healthy rituals for myself and create more connection with natural rhythms of myself, my family, the seasons, the Moon, the animals - all of it. I feel so much power in learning about these things, and I’m eager to find a place to start!

From what I can tell, there is a handful of active users, and a lot more of silent readers.

Well to the group 
As I have posted in many places, I recommend Raymond Buckland’s Big Blue, Scott Cunningham, Wicca for the Solitary Practitioner, and A Witches Bible by Janet and Stewart Farrar. Farrar goes in depth for rituals and god/desses; Cunningham is great for solitary, and Buckland is just easy, general knowledge that can be used collectively or solitarily. With these 3, I have made my self-dedication and my own practice…of course with help from this site and a few others I frequent. The group here is very positive and many people with a wealth of information.
