Hi Im Odeydy a new baby witch, I been researching for two months about everything that has to do with practicing and would love to get some reccomendations on other things I could learn or rituals thats could be good to practice. Thank you!
Merry Meet Odeydy,
Welcome to our coven, a good place to learn. You may want to explore different pantheons and see if you feel drawn to and particular tradition or deities. That would give you a better idea of how to refine your practice. It is also good to understand the difference between being a witch and being Wiccan. If you read through different posts here, you will find many good recommendations for reading material. I maintain that he best way to learn is to find someone you trust and get one-on-one instruction. Brightest Blessings!
Merry Meet Odeydy,
A good place to learn about Wicca and see if that is you (it is not me, I’m just a witch
) is Raymond Buckland’s “Big Blue”, Scott Cunningham-Wicca for the Solitary Practitioner, and Janet and Stewart Ferrar-A Witche’s Bible. These are all good to learn about Wicca. I started with these as a good base and decided that Wicca as a whole was not for me. However, as an eclectic, I use what works for me from any and all practices. I also like Tarot and the Pendulum, very easy to use. I like Knot spells, very simple, fast, and efficient. I do not know if you have access to anyone where you are or not. These books that I have listed are very good for a solitary practitioner. As always, witchcraft is about what works for YOU. Believe, Act, give Gratitude.
