OK so I’ve been having dreams cometrue since I was 16 years old. Usually they are of general moments in my life. The dreams that come true are always exactly as I dreamed them except for 1 (out of literally thousands) where I was able to exert an extreme amount of force of will to change the outcome. All the others unfolded exactly as dreamed even if I said something different. But this one I had come true a year and a half ago, so February of 2025, has really gotten under my skin and I would absolutely love to talk with anyone about information or ideas that they have on these kinds of dreams. I was able to narrow down the time that the dream occurred because of a specific reference I told my husband about “the phone in my hand looking like a ginormous iPod Touch” and those were still really new when I had the dream. So the dream was from around 2009 or 2010. Definitely the longest time frame that it has ever taken for one of my dreams to “happen”. Does anyone have any information or even educated thoughts on this? By the time the incident occurred I had stopped being freaked out by my dreams coming true, but this one took it to a whole other level.
Scintillating Saturday Alys,
That is so interesting. My deja vu’s are not that intense, and usually come to fruition the more frequent they become. (if that makes sense)
The only thing I can offer, is that I believe a deja vu is our spirit moving to a different time/plane/space/existence whatever your viewpoint is. That is why I believe it is very rare to be able to influence it, since you are seeing what is happening at a different time and space. You being able to influence an outcome speaks to your POWER!!
May I ask, how long have you been practicing the Craft, or have you just come recently to this awareness?
Since you have had this often, I am happy that you have decided to not freak out. Have you been able to let others know of coming events? Maybe you are a clairvoyant
. Do you practice any divination? (Tarot, Lenormand, I Ching, Runes?)
Well, I don’t have any information, and I am not sure how much of an “educated thought” this is.
Just my
I am very interested to follow this along ![]()

My dream life is… abnormal. So IDK how much I can help.
I had a Lucid Dream (nightmare on steroids actually) when I was all of FOUR years old.
That shut down my remembering of ANY dream for most of my life. I had a few memorable
dreams in my 20’s but I can literally count them on one hand. Then my new doc prescribed
SSRI’s which literally blew up my dreams. I could NOT tell reality from the dream world!
Now I’m off SSRI’s and my dreams are back to being unknown when I awaken. It sux.
Yes - because I have this too.
It’s called Precognitive/Prophetic Dreaming, and it qualifies as a type of Clairvoyancy. It developed over time for me as well - going as far back as I can remember - so around 4, and reaching it’s peak around 22-25. It’s waxed and waned ever since.
I’ve also had one where I was able to change the outcome once it started manifesting…
Actually I’ve had a few…
And the phenomenon of even my seemingly “normal” dreams manifesting years later in an exact replay is a continuing thing for me. I will be experiencing a seemingly normal moment, then have a sudden memory of experiencing it in a dream.
Just one of the many mysteries of my life. I can give you my interpretations, but of course everyone’s going to interpret it differently. It’s not like surface-level deja-vu, that’s for sure…
I hope at least knowing you’re not the only one gives you peace. ![]()
Scintillating Saturday Wren and Alys,
That is so great. I wonder what the odds are that 2 people with the same experiences are on this particular site?![]()

The key word that I can offer here is perspective. There are no actual shifts in the planes, as far as I know - it’s just your perspective, or the way you’re plugged into them changes. You pretty much said it, but there’s also more that I believe is happening.
Oh the things I could say… lol. So many stories.
You feel a lot of power, but you also end up having the undying desire to figure out why or who or what you really are. It’s mysteries like this that have been the biggest drivers of the development of my spiritual life.
Honestly, with how many strange things I’ve seen here, I’m not that surprised. lol!
If anyone wants to hear some crazy dream stories, I’m your girl… lol.
Cheers. ![]()
You should post them on our dream thread here:
..or make a new topic about dreams.
Thanks for answering! I have not been a very disciplined practitioner, but I started practicing divination right before these dreams started happening. I seem to have a very great natural ability in divination. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on perspective) I have never been able to warn anyone of anything except for the one time I changed the outcome of the dream, my husband was going to break his mother’s brand new Kurig about 6 years ago. Needless to say I saved him a lot of grief because his mother never let’s anything go! I really appreciate all of the answers I received. It definitely feels better knowing that I’m not alone and even better being able to communicate with others with the same or similar gifts!
Super Sunday Wren,
Yes, perspective is the word. My views on time are also based on perspective. Many people have a hard time with that concept. I am glad you understand what I was trying to say,![]()

I wish my dreams happened ahead of the event but they seem to happen at the time something is happening. They are very symbolic in nature and so I don’t really know what it’s about or if it’s even relevant until I hear about whatever it is and instantly know this is what I dreamt about. I was very young the first time. One of my friends has forbidden me to dream about her because they are often about someone dying. I sometime understand what dreams are about upon waking, they always spiritual in nature, usually about an attack of some kind, if that makes sense.
Sounds a lot like Shamanistic Visions have you tried Lucid Dreaming?
There are a few categories of these dreams. One category delivers a clear warning about something, while another offers a heads up about an event that will occur in the future.
This kind of dreaming is an ability for some people who are born with it, which is why many others don’t have it. But it is also an ability that can be developed and honed by those who are not naturally born with.
There is much more to these types of dreams, and it is quite freaky. For that reason, I prefer to let those who experience them figure these dreams out on their own terms.
My recommendation is that you keep a dedicated dream journal and record what you dream. Over time, as your intuition sharpens, you will be able to distinguish which dreams are warnings, and which dreams are indicators of future events.
