Dreams and visions

Anyone here knows about dreams or dream work? I would like to ask if theres any forums/materials/websites that you use to translate/understand dreams given to you when you sleep.

I’ve always been really into dream work just not really good at understanding the dreams that happen.

Some say dreams are visions, others say its our deities showing us how far we’ve progressed or whats to come.

Wish I could help, but for like 90% of my life I seem to have blocked remembering dreams.

It stems from that traumatic dream as a toddler (I think I posted about that here, but details not

important) I only remember two dreams from during my jewish conversion like 40 years ago.

A deity vision, for sure. Then nothing at all but vague images half-remembered upon awakening.

During Covid my dreams went absolutely bonkers when I was given SSRI drugs by a 'mental

health professional’. Long story is I’m back to forgetting. Except when my Familair is there. Rare.

I had Keldan interpret my few remembered dreams. I know there’s lots of books etc. on

dream interpretation. Not looked into that, but I may have some PDFs, are you interested?

I have a long history of extraordinary dreams (and occasionally waking visions) too - precognitive ones from toddler age, extended memories and experiences in places I should’ve never been to in this life, etc. etc…

I highly recommend this book: The Dream Interpretation Dictionary: Symbols, Signs, and Meanings: DeBord, J.M.: 9781578597833: Amazon.com: Books

There are numerous different kinds of dreams. Some may be messages from ancestors, past lives, deities and spirits. Some that are of places we’ve never been to could actually not be dreams, rather astral travel. And then there’s lucid dreams. Those are truly powerful as they enable you to access hidden parts of yourself that you may not be able to reach when awake.

Sedim - My father is that way. He had some extreme childhood trauma and as a result he never dreams.

Gods, the way I dream evolved in such a crazy fashion… they were (and are) the strongest indicator I have to anything that is going on in my life that may be out of the ordinary. I shared a small part of my iconic deity dream with Lord Shiva here briefly. After learning how to lucid dream at around 10-12, and practicing it regularly, every time I dream now is spontaneously a lucid dream.

One I will never forget is where I nearly walked out of my dream!

Edit : Sorry for the Lore dump… I’m going to blame it on my detox. :face_with_spiral_eyes: lol

I have dabbled in dream work for others, as I hardly ever remember my dreams.
It is more about the symbolism in the dreams than the actual while dream itself.

If you search for parts of the dream, such as ‘falling’ or ‘being in the ocean’ or ‘talking to a red fox’ then you should come across some good web sites that explain a lot of things if you can’t find a good book to pick up on dream work.

Don’t worry, dreams are the most we can connect to our Shadow self.

My Familiar in fact forbids me from attempting Lucid dreams or Astral

Projections. I have maybe hundreds of PDFs MP3s and videos on the

subjects. But no, I can’t use any of them. I accept what She tells me.

She must have her reasons. I know a couple, but I’m sure She has more.

I would definitely trust her then. Fortunately there are many other ways to work on trauma and the shadow self. Kind of funny to think about that I was doing shadow-work as a teen…

I have the weirdest dreams, sometimes i’ve had dreams that are like a completely separate life, so i’ve written them down and made a book from them. One i had that was bizarre i was sleeping in the dream, and in the dream i went to bed and had a dream about another life, then i woke up in the dream and was trying to figure out which dream was real, then i went back to sleep and was in the other life again, it was really confusing when I actually woke and as it seemed so real, oh and I can read books and write words ie letters and notes etc… (which some say you can’t,) well, I can in my dreams, i’ve had dreams about people that i’ve never met, then met them, can be embarrasing if it is a tad, physical shall i say, this happened at a place of work, and say that i was a bit speachless when the person went red and left is an understatement. I have had lucid dreams which can be a lot of fun, until someone else in the dream realises that you are aware, that can get freaky very quickly. As to meaning, I try not to get to bogged down in this but rather try to contemplate how it made me feel, i’ve found that is actually more helpful to me.

One of the most helpful things for me is the practice of lucid dreaming. Not only do I never have a bad dream, but I do have good ones. I’m an empath and minored in criminal psychology, so I leave dream interpretation to others. It’s too taxing on me emotionally and mentally.

Hello Sedim,

Yes I would be interested! I’ve been semi lucid dreaming for a long while in which I could see, hear and feel whats happening but cant control my actions yet.

Dreamwork is very interesting and all your inputs here give amazing insights to how it may look like for different people!

Lucid dreaming is amazing. With practice, you should find that point naturally - but if you find you’re getting stuck, we might be able to help you.

Cheers Firefox, best of luck! :trident_emblem:

I have never been able to Lucid Dream at the level I have read about some people achieve.

In particular, I have never been able to change even one aspect outside of myself and how I

interacted with the dream world. It’s always been much like THIS world. Like, I can’t turn my

PC mouse into a real live mouse here, and I wouldn’t be able to there either. I can read in

my dreams, but not process numbers. Digital clocks are all in ‘chinese-ish’ characters. My

phone I can look up contacts, but not dial a number. Math out of the question. So, I don’t

remember if I explained my problem with dreams. Well, my most recent one. Forgive if you

heard this before. When I was diagnosed with Autism, I was also diagnosed with Anxiety and

Depression. These go hand-in-hand. The ‘doctor’ prescribed SSRIs. Then upped the dose

Nothing at first, but then it hit me. I could no longer tell what was a dream and what was NOT.

This is a very rare but not unheard of outcome. Think on that. It’s a bit like ‘Groundhog Day’.

What’s real? What’s NOT real? How can you tell, if you can’t tell if you’re dreaming? My dreams

became hyper-realistic. More real than real life, almost. That was the beginning of my Ego Death.

That sounds rather like psychosis. Awful, I’m sorry you had to go through that. Those are dangerous as hell!

Achieving stuff like that in lucid dreams isn’t something most can do right off the bat. Even for me, I want to say it took me about 5 years of practice at least.

I refused to take any more SSRIs once I understood what was happening. I went off cold-turkey,

NOT what you’re supposed to do, you have to wean off or suffer possible brain damage. I didn’t

care. I was already in hell. I spent, and this is going to sound crazy I know, almost a year in the

dream world. I even got a job, as a plumber. I know that town very VERY well. And the Entities.

Of course, this is why She will not let me even risk going back. I can’t remember dreams unless

She is there (usually right behind me, to one side).

EDIT: Not found anything on dream interpretations yet, I have to look thru older downloads.

I REALLY gotta sort all this stuff into categories. I have a 8 terabyte drive full of stuff, mostly

it’s the larger videos and ISOs take up the majority of the space tho.

Exactly - that’s why they’re so damn dangerous!!

Not crazy at all! You got a taste of what it’s like to be me - albeit a trippier version. As I’ve said, I pretty much only feel them and receive impressions. Makes travel and working in public places very interesting, yes! lol… I used to have to constantly worry about wearing protection - but that need seems to have lessened lately. :white_heart:

Physical protection or Spiritual? I used to sleep with a dagger. A real dagger, lucky it didn’t slip

outa it’s sheath and me kill myself with it, it’s about 8" long it is, and sharp! I was paranoid, ya.

Energetic/Spiritual protection!

I’m fortunate I don’t have a need to have to wear physical protection! I used to have to worry about that in other places though… so I can understand the feeling.

But no, I don’t need even need to wear much spiritual protection anymore - I kind of don’t need to. I would elaborate but I don’t want to derail another thread. lol!

Fantastic Friday Drew,

I had been writing my dreams down upon waking, since I was about 7 or so. I wished to publish them when I got older (about now, age 61). Unfortunately, on a move to Hawaii, they were lost (after over 20 years of dream-keeping) and I did not have the heart to start over. I commend you for keeping your dream diary, how fun!!!
