Where would I learn about respectfully and intentionally harvesting herbs? Books, articles, other resources would be appreciated?

Books would be my first go to, and not just one, but a few of them.

Also consider non ‘witchy’ gardening books too, as they can be a lot safer with edible herbs.

Hello Waden - delighted to make a herbalist connection with you :star_struck:

I have found a great deal of insight and real value from Rosemary Gladstar’s work - she has three different excellent books that you can find online and in many libraries. Her website: Rosemary Gladstar's Science & Art of Herbalism

I also LOVE the words and de-colonizing spirit shared by Robin Kimmerer in “Braiding Sweetgrass” and “the secret world of moss” - both are more tuned to speak on why and how to connect to the herbal kin among us, and what respectful harvest may mean - how to keep in integrity and reciprocity with the wild world.

Let me know if you’d like to chat more about the flora in your area (or mine), I would love to connect

be well :rainbow:
