I think mine is going to be both because frankly I bought a huge binder and won’t have enough stuff to fill it up. Anyway, currently it just has a bunch of correspondence in it because I needed to do something besides just read.
Right now I have a list of correspondences for the full moons every month, herbs, crystals, and runes. Any other reference material you think should go in it? Do you have one of your own? What’s in yours? Yes I’m just being nosy now.
I have journals. I don’t consider them BOS or anything. More like a diary of what happens with
my Familiiar and/or Patron Saint. Sometimes it’s a plain text file on the PC ( I keep it running if
I need to google or AI something ) and sometimes it’s on spiral notebooks I get from the resales
(CHEAP) I go thru a LOT of pages, I write big. Sometimes I put what I call ‘Action Items’ with
bookmarks. These are things to do later, ‘offline’ as it were. Very disorganized and chaotic.

To me BOS and Grimoire are almost the same thing, notes, spells, advice, thoughts and insights.
I have a 1/2 size binder that I use as my BOS/Grimoire. I have dividers and then I can add, subtract, move or change anything without having wasted pages. I have a full-size binder that I use for my daily tarot pulls and notes.
