Banishment, binding, or protection spells?

Greetings and happy Imbolc season to all you wonderful practitioners!

As a new member of this community and a long-time practitioner, I’m eager to engage in conversation rather than seek direct guidance for myself. I understand the procedures, effects, and consequences of various spells, but I’m curious: how do you choose between a banishment, binding, or protection spell when dealing with individuals with ill intent.

I use blinding when I know exactly to whom i need to bind, and protection when I have less information that want let me blind someone.

Sensational Saturday Lilith,

I try NOT to make any “bad spells”. I use knots for binding spells, and a “dome” of protection spell for my person. The knot spells have been extremely successful for me.

Example: don’t know how anyone feels about politics in this country, but I came up with a “nicely” worded banishing spell for the Trump administration.

Please Bless Trump and all his Homies, with the same consideration they have given us, the people of the US….please repay them full-measure and tightly pressed down with the “abundances” they have given us. Bless them with what you feel they deserve.

No anger, nor “badness” to come back at me “three-fold”. This is a banishing spell, written in the “good” sense.
I try to word my spells as to not be negative. However, in my knot spells, I still do not use “bad” language, I ask that someone be bound from harming, ask that the spell come true, and trust that it will be handled. The hardest part is sleeping on it for 3 days and “forgetting/letting it go”.
Look forward to “talking” with you Lilith.

We have a monthly tarot pull, if you care to join.
