Aquarius ♒🏺what does it all mean?

Being a water :ocean: :sweat_droplets: bearing sign….I ended up being a competitive swimmer most of my young life…I always felt drawn to the water and longer to be a sea witch ….is that weird?

I was born on the cusp of Leo, and I won’t even begin to describe what all that entails. :slightly_smiling_face: I just wanted to say that I think what would be weird is denying your true self. I am not a sea witch, but I do have a strong bond with the ocean, with many experiences, including being swept out to sea in a squall, then brought back in and deposited on the beach. Be a sea witch and good on ya! Brightest Blessings!

Not sure how I missed this but, wow! That must be one whale of a story, how did you find yourself in a position to be victim of a squall? Also, you said “deposited” as though you were gently place (that’s how I took it at least), do you think there was a hand in your placement on safe shores?

Apologies if I’m being nosey. ~ A

In a time before time when the veil was thin and the gods walked the Earth, a young man of 18 was with a few of his friends on Cape Hatteras, North Carolina - the Outer Banks. There was a long line of huge rocks stretching out into the Atlantic; could have been a breakwater but who knows. Across this headland were the rusted-out remnants of a chain-link fence with a sign stating in large red letters, “DANGER, KEEP OFF”. So of course, we immediately headed out all the way to the end of it. What could happen on such a calm beautiful day? Or at least that’s what a bunch of boys from Appalachia thought. We had no concept of a squall - but we soon learned.

Without the slightest hint of a warning the sun disappeared, the sky turned slate gray, the wind howled, torrential rain pelted us, and the Atlantic flexed its muscles. All but three of us got back to the beach and ducked into an outbuilding. I was almost to the beach when one of my friends slipped and was stuck between two boulders. I and my other friend managed to get his foot free, but just as we got him free and started to run for the beach, a huge wave washed over. They made it to the beach, but I didn’t. I was slapped off the pier and thrust into Poseidon’s washing machine. I made a feeble attempt to swim, but being completely submerged, tossed around like a rag doll, I really had no idea which way was up, let alone where the beach might be.

Summersaulting under the waves I finally gave in to the inevitable, and simply relaxed. I wasn’t panicking, but instead felt a deep sense of calm. Everything turned a beautiful shade of blue, then white, then faded to black. The next thing I remember, I was standing just down the beach from my friends, who had come out to look for me. I was fine and didn’t have a scratch. I remember one of them remarking, “How the hell did you do that?” He said that one moment I was nowhere to be seen then the next moment, there I stood. The sun was out; the waves were settling down, the storm was completely over, and if it wasn’t for having to take one of my friends to the Coast Guard station for first aid, it was as if the storm was all a dream.

Even now, many decades later, I feel the emotion swell within me as I recount this event. I have no clue why I didn’t drown. I trust the Goddess has used me in some small way to bless others, though I often feel so unworthy of her love.

Thank you for sharing! Seriously, heart stopping story and told with some well placed chuckles…”Poseidon’s washing machine” was way more than a chuckle. I’m so glad I’m nosey enough to have asked.

A Libra is considered a music witch, as they can use singing to amplify their spells, or a sylph witch because of their connection to air and heavenly radiance. They are also described as having the “superpower” of creating peace and charm, which could be a form of magic.

  • Music Witch:

The ability to use singing to give extra power to their spells, connecting with their musical talent.

  • Sylph Witch:

A heavenly, air-elemental spirit that embodies beauty and delicate magic, reflecting Libra’s connection to air.

  • Charm and Peace Witch:

A witch who uses their natural charisma to create harmony and peace in their surroundings.

Considering how much your signs influence you as a person, it only makes sense!

I’m not sure what a “Cancer-style” witch looks like, but that’s my sun. Cancer, Leo rising, Ares moon. All the traditional signs that I was a witch started when I was very little, and the primary spirit animals that followed me were the wolf, the snake, and the owl. I was an absolute night-owl (still am) and I spent many nights just staring at the moon. Many of my dreams as a child were of bodies of water and of shapeshifting into various animals.

The Pacific is known to be gentler than the Atlantic but it too can get violent. I was in it constantly. I got swept into a rip-current once and got pulled out past a pier, but was able to swim back to the inland before anyone had to come rescue me. I had a talent for swimming, and I knew how to swim through the undercurrents. I’d collect shells, sand dollars, shark egg husks, ocean glass and other treasures. We’d sail and kayak out to the nearest islands from time to time, with the dolphins and seals to keep us company.

If I started younger, I think all my workings would be with water, easily. Honestly, I should work it more but I don’t. Any rituals I do have to do with deity worship, ancestral worship, and the underworld. Why those? It’s an incredibly long and painful story. But they’re things that I’d think would be more appropriate for Scorpio or Capricorn. Idk. But I do absolutely love bathing rituals. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

And Marcus that’s an incredible story!
