Cats are very opinionated! She may reluctantly agree but then make it a personal mission to knock everything you own off all available surfaces. It’s always a negotiation!

When I look at the picture again as she’s sitting in that box, she kind of has a regal, Cleopatra on the barge, floating down the Nile sort of air about her.

I’ve always been of the humble opinion that every cat owner needs at least one Bastet idol. For approval! lol

Absolutely right. She is a real princess, I can tell you! Definitely something regal about her -and yet she is a rescue, I got her when she was 2 (now she is almost 5) had two previous homes and behaved like a ragamuffin! She still likes rolling in dirt, then spends hours cleaning/grooming herself!

Reminds me of when I was a kid. I would play in the mud, but couldn’t stand my hands dirty, so about every 5 minutes I would go inside to wash my hands, then go back to the mud.
