I was doing my Full Moon Ritual Bath last night and at the end of it on my window was a wolf emerging from the fog/steam. I am not sure if that is good or bad and what it could mean. My bath wasn’t anything fancy, just salt (protection), moon water (cleansing), and jasmine-honeysuckle oil (self love). Can anyone tell me if there is a reason/meaning for the wolf on my window?
In many cultures, like Native American nations, Norse, and African cultures, wolves might symbolize loyalty, strength, and overall safe, protective vibes.
Steam also could symbolize the connection between the spiritual world and ours, or transformation of some kind.
You may have inadvertently attracted the spirit of a wolf during your ritual! The timing and the ingredients you used in your bath makes me inclined to think that’s what happened lol.
Wolves have been wrongly maligned by Western European cultures. Native shamanism taught that the wolf is a powerful leader of the bloodlines, a teacher, a protector, and a guide. What it meant in that moment depends on the feeling you had at the time it revealed itself.
As someone with a wolf familiar, I feel very passionately protective of them lol. Trust that the gods have provided you with what you need. Wolves are nothing to fear, they are teachers just like any other animal spirit guide.
Cheers.
I should have figured that out. I am of Cherokee blood, and I was visualizing my protective barrier when I saw the image on the window. For some reason I saw grey with black tip ears and one white paw in my mind when I saw the image. It was just a flash of image.
lol, no worries! That sounds like such a cool moment! ![]()
Merry Meet Rebecca,
It sounds to me as if it is a special moment meant for your. Only you are able to really decide what it is. As Wren stated, wolved may considered powerful. That is the way I see them, as fierce protectors and messengers. I was even on a trail “talking” with a wolf when my husband came up to me all scared about the wolf. I calmly told my husband to back off, he was giving the wolf “fear” vibes, but that I was A-Okay. Wolves may be very soothing, you need to be open to the message. From what you wrote and my experiences, it sounds like a re-affirmation. But, only you will know for certain. Keep your mind open, the answer may appear in a dream.
I hope you find your answer soon. Thank-you for sharing!!
