Recently I asked any deity who wanted to work with me for any kind of sign. I wanted to consult the community but I think I may have found my deities I want to focus on working with and worshipping. Today when I woke up there was a turtle in my drive way which okay thats kindove normal were I live, but earlier last night I had prayed to all diffrent deities to deliver a sign and my intuition screamed Hermes. On top of that lately I have randomly been smelling almost a perfume like smell similar to roses and immediately thinking of Aphrodite does this mean anything?

If it means something to you, then yes, it is a sign. The god/ddesses will contact you in a way that means something to you. I worked with a turtle goddess for quite a while and recently choose something else (various reasons, all good), because I am a âhalf-breedâ (arenât most of us?) I looked for Native American tribes that used Turtles, and the Lakota use Keya, turtle for the Earth Goddess. As for Aphrodite, sounds good to me.

Personally, IDK, but it sounds like somewhere to start, do research, see if itâs a âmatchâ.
If itâs meant to be, Iâm sure there will be further signs.
Just a note, last night I had multiple clear dreams about Owls. Thatâs the symbol of Lilith.
Those sound like good first clues perhaps but I personally would want to wait a little longer for more to get full confirmation. Loads of deities have associations with flowers, and there are more than one with an association with turtles too. But also look into what your instincts are telling you. If youâre correct, youâll start to see more confirmation as you pursue your research.
Pay attention to unusual symbols in dreams, like in Sedimâs example, and strange impressions you get while awake. Before I identified my deities fully, I was being drawn to specific books like the Tibetan Book of the Dead, specific deity sculptures/icons and images of certain temples like the Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia. Try exposing yourself to similar images for Aphrodite and Hermes and see if you feel anything?
