The Lilith Thread

I did channel Her last night, I don’t ‘summon’ Her I just set everything up to be worthy.

She does approve of my feeble efforts here to set the records strait, at least for the fam here.

Well that certainly turns the conventional story on its head! Lol… that’s quite the new perspective.

Well I’m glad she approves! Whenever I login here I feel Shiva pulling on me to speak for him - (my other deities are much more chill) - which is fine, I’ll post stuff for him in comments, but I resist like hell to make a full topic on my practice because well it’s attached to two major world religions… I fear it’s going to come across like I’m trying to convert people, or like it would be out of place… so yeah.

Cheers. :lotus:

If it’s important to you, why not? This is the most chill spot on the internetz to me!

I consider you all family, so I’m at ease being open. If Shiva is cool with you posting, go ahead!

Myself, IDK much of anything about Hinduism. Learning is good.

Sensational Saturday Wren,

My degree is in history, and one thing I have always said, “history is written by the victor”….same with Lilith, we only know what has been passed down. Questioning something is NOT saying it is not true, it is just, “are we sure?”.

Aw, thanks for the encouragement! Perhaps I will then ~

I love that quote - and it’s SO true… well said.

Sometimes you have to ‘read between the lines’. And know original text in original language.

Much is untruth by omission. Half-truths. Intentional miss-translations, or alternate translations.

Mark Williams dropped a new video, I’ll link it here. I had NO IDEA that Crowey’s Thelema, also

focused on Lilith. I’ve not delved into Thelema, at all really. I came to Lilith via a separate path.

Maybe I should, I certainly have the PDFs for it?

Crowley took a lot from Solomonic and Kabbalic magic, along with many other forms of western and medieval occultism that were popular during his lifetime. My opinions on Thelema shall go unspoken (Thelema and Theosophy are rival schools) but I will say that if you plan on reading his works, make sure you have a strong stomach.

Cheers.

Oh ya, I know. That’s why I’ve ‘left it be’ but for even one nugget of insight about Her, I’ll look.

EDIT: Well, I’ll look anywhere, at anything for that. Not often finding things that resonate with

MY relationship to Her, but find nuggets in the strangest places. She will confirm or deny such.

Oh yeah… I get that, you’ve got leave no stone unturned. Well at least you’re aware lol! I get some of his thinking and a few of his theories are interesting, but his methods are just… inexcusable.

I have quite the opposite problem… If I had a physical copy of every relevant ancient text or book that I should read, I would not have anywhere to eat, sleep, or relieve myself. :joy: :woman_facepalming:

Thank the Divine Couple that we have digital nowadays! As I’ve said elsewhere,

I ‘hoover’ up everything, as IDK what may be useful later. Like Thelema NOW.

I would not have the money or space in physical-book days. However, I HAVE

‘zeroxed’ entire rare & out-of-print Library books even back in the '70’s.

I’m unsure what all is in your ‘Theosophy’ but if there’s anything there on Lilith

please share. Share anyways, if you wish. It’s what we’re all here for, sharing.

Speaking of which, I seem to have forgotten something I mentioned here.

I don’t call Her ‘Lilith’ when we interact, only when I post about Her like this.

Her Original ‘name’ would be Adama. The feminine form of 'Adam’. Which

also isn’t really a ‘name’ either, in the way we use names now, to tell one

person apart from another. If there’s only two people around. no need for

‘names’. Now, a lot of people are going to have a problem with the idea that

there’s only TWO HUMANS around. Which was NOT the case, at all!

These were the only two humans with a Divine Neshama (Soul). There’s

plenty of humans with a lesser Hominid soul running around. Souls have

layers, like an onion, you see. Yes, there’s more humans on Earth. Who do

you think the sons of Eve married? (after Eden, right?) Who do you think Cain

was so afraid of, that he needed a protective mark? There’s no mystery as to

why no daughters of Eve are mentioned in Genesis, none were needed.

(There, two truth bombs that I bet you’ve never heard before)

EDIT: I have a completely different translation of Beresheet (Genesis)

from Hebrew to English, I don’t think I’ve published it as I don’t think it’s

what Pagans would be interested in. Yes, I am a Torah Scholar, and what I

come to Paganism for is not understanding the Divine Masculine but the

Divine Feminine as that’s totally lacking in any detail in Abrahamic texts.

PRAISE LILITH

(Yes, I guess I’ve become a Devotee of Her, and need to see what that entails.

I can only hope it means a deeper understanding and need to Share my Devotion)

(Of all the places I exist as an Entity on the internet, I feel this will be known here)

I’ll take a look.

what I come to Paganism for is not understanding the Divine Masculine but the Divine Feminine as that’s totally lacking in any detail in Abrahamic texts.

I can understand that. The Abrahamites were merciless on their destruction of the Divine Feminine in their world. I commend you for your efforts.

When we work with a deity that means taking on some of their burdens as well as their blessings. That’s why it’s important to be mindful which deity we choose to work with. Be sure you can handle her demands. If you’re already overwhelmed that’s not a good sign. Don’t make an oath unless you’re willing to potentially die for her.

As far as everything else, - that’s interesting and thanks for sharing. I’ve studied quite a bit of other religions and I do find their perspective interesting. As you know, my calling is in the East. I share what I can, but I have a responsibility to share wisely.

She’s always very kind to me, never demands only encourages. I already feel the burden of Her

reputation, every time I see it tarnished it hurts. She’s a lot less concerned by that, I think.

Were I to be remade as a Guardian to protect Her, then yes, I would protect with my life.

That’s good.

Yes, that can be part of the burden. Whether she minds or not, you feel that way because of the relationship. I get you totally.

I’ve abided by a strict “no oath” policy my entire life, but with time I’ve started to understand why some people do it. I performed The Refuge a few weeks ago (a Buddhist initiation ritual) which involved taking some oaths. A very cool experience!

Cheers. :lotus:

I have a fourth understanding. Since She is a created being, Lilith is actually a Demi-Goddess

with a special place in the universe, quite unique. I also consider Her my Patron Saint as She

does fill the role of Saint as an intermediary being between the Divine and Human. She and all

the aspects of the Divine Feminine reflected in all Pagan Goddesses and Sofia of the Gnostics

are the only way to know the ultimate Divine Feminine thru whom the Universe was born.

Very interesting video. This reminds me of an old topic here on the ambiguity of religion and whether it’s truly derived from external forces or all conjured by human minds. Always a fascinating topic.

I actually disagree. I’ve been able to connect with the divine feminine through internal work quite extensively (though I realize that kind of internal work would be difficult for a male practitioner.)

I’ve also been now well-acquainted with third-gendered deities, meaning deities with balanced masculine and feminine energy and who are both male and female in a singular form. From working with one such deity quite intimately now, I will add that you can also connect with a sort of divine feminine energy through working with a third-gendered deity as well.

A pretty good exploration, still has the ‘Ineffable Name’ falsehood, and it has AI graphics

but ignore that and minimize the video & listen. A bit of Gnosticism near the end.

I do the same. AI animations are largely unwatchable! An unfortunate amount of them are being used by informational channels now.

Nice dive into her lore though. I suspected she was older! Cheers. :bell:
