Spells for mental health?

Merry Meet!

Im not sure if I chose the right section for this but oh well.

I haven’t been on here in a while because of poor mental health and I just got out of the mental hospital a few days ago. I already cleansed my room, so besides that what can I do to help myself? Im open to any spells, rituals, starting new habits, etc. Also, what gods or goddesses could I pray to or work with? Im a Hellenic witch so Greek gods are preferred but I am willing to work with anyone. Some specific things I struggle with are self worth/ self image, letting go of past events, and modivation.

Sorry you went thru that, hope you’re better and they just didn’t send you home regardless.

Don’t know much about Hellenic, but are there any Shaman or Shamanic healers near you?

I’d try them first, if you don’t know any and are not in a Coven (IDK if there are Hellenic ones)

I was starting to wonder where you were. Glad you are back!! I would suggest short, guided, meditations. I use calm.com for guided meditations, daily move, and even sleep “noise”. I believe it is only about $70 a year, and such a good deal.
I would start with meditations and much self-love. Hot baths, teas….my favorite when an immediate pick-me-up is needed….chant this, and it works great when you say it while looking in a mirror at yourself.

I belong!!!

It really helps you feel grounded and centered with yourself!!

I’m glad that you are doing well right now. As someone who struggles from mental health issues, I appreciate your post. I also need a spell for mental health though. Hope someone here would be able to share something useful.

I’m so sorry you had to go through that. There are two types of meditations that I’d recommend: Samatha and Metta. Samatha is specifically meant for calming the nervous system and Metta is for cultivating self-love. I would give those a try.

If you don’t find it easy to meditate in the beginning, don’t worry about it. Just building up the habit to sit for a few minutes in quiet in the morning or evening (preferably both) to self-calm and be present for yourself is good too. Journaling can also be useful for emotional processing.

As far as spells go, I often recommend self-love bathing rituals. There are many you can find online. They can be as fancy or as simple as you like.
