Solstice Celebrating?

HI Everyone,

with the solstice just a few weeks away, I wondered if anyone else will be celebrating? and If yes, would you be willing to share idea? I’m thinking of circling outdoors in the garden but not sure yet.

Do you) work magic on the sabbats or are the strictly spiritual days in your practice?

Thanks for sharing (in advance). Practice gets stale without new ideas

Yes as every Summer Solstice possible. Psilocybin, a massive fire, intense drumming and dancing. Not everyone’s cup of tea. For me it is a very deep visceral experience that allows me to experience and absorb the strength and power in Existence.

I haven’t determined what I will be doing for the solstice yet but this is what chatGPT recommended to me:

:sun: Summer Solstice Ritual Ideas

  1. Sunrise or Sunset Ritual

Wake early to watch the sunrise or wind down with the sunset.

Journal your gratitude for the first half of the year and set intentions for the rest.

Speak affirmations of abundance and joy as you witness the light.

  1. Bonfire Ceremony

Gather friends (or go solo) for a backyard or beach bonfire.

Write down anything you wish to release and burn it in the fire.

Dance, drum, or sing around the fire to honor the sun’s energy.

  1. Make a Solar Offering

Create a mandala or altar using sun-colored items (gold, yellow, orange), flowers (like sunflowers, marigolds), and herbs (rosemary, chamomile, mugwort).

Offer it to the Earth or the Sun in gratitude for all you’ve received.

  1. Flower Crown or Wildflower Gathering

Weave a flower crown with local blooms or wildflowers as a symbol of divine femininity and summer magic.

You could also dry herbs or flowers for future spells or tea blends.

  1. Sun Tea Spell

Place a jar of water with herbs or tea under the sunlight to steep.

Infuse the tea with intentions and sip while journaling or meditating on growth.

What seeds did I plant earlier this year that are now blooming?

What am I ready to fully step into and embody?

Where can I shine more of my light in the world?

Since I am all about Spring and Summer, when I seem stronger, I always, weather permitting do rituals outside. I do an Apollo rituals to celebrate him pulling the sun across the sky then lit a bonfire. For the Goddess and I have many, but Hecate is my protector. I have 2 acre yard, with my house in the middle. I have candle pillars at the perimeter at the quarters. My son and I walk it with lit incense and invoke the spirit lighting candles to join us in our celebration. We always invite people, but they never show, so we stopped. We have Dittany of Crete incense, Myrrh and Frankinscense. We play music, write our wishes on a piece of paper, throw it in the fire. At the end we go counterclock wise put out the candles and call it a night. Sometimes we have some type of alcohol for a toast to the God for a wonderful Spring and a hopeful great Summer. If it is raining, I walk around my house doing the same thing. We have small tealight candle holders to set in the windows. Sometimes I walk with a singing bowl or play a gathering drum. What ever strikes me at the time. We rarely plan it. I do rituals everyday. Sunrise, noon, sunset and midnight…Apollo, Aphrodite, Hecate and Nyx. I have a outdoor circle made of quartz and the Summer Soltice is when I start doing my ritual outside and until maybe Winter Soltice.
